About $1200 or so more. For that price, I would go with Icons, which are tried and true, plus they are larger in diameter.

Then get you some labrak also. I always wondered about the vertical bars vibrating due to length.

After having to deal with customs and all the bs. I can see why they charge what they do. Still great profit.

Too much bad juju surrounding labrak for me to buy from them again. Good stuff but no way i send them that much money on good faith...

Funny. I was just about to post that same article.

I read articles like these, and truly qualified people continue to confirm that the 200 really IS "all that."

I really want to want a 200......but I just don't seem to be able to get there. Again, I'm confident they're prolly the best Land Cruiser yet. But.................

His opinion can't be trusted.

It's a fantastic vehicle and probably very capable in most situations. BUT, is it a land cruiser? .....

I'm not there yet.

Yeah, Toyota has had a hard time with aesthetics. 60's were the last good looking cruisers. 80's are bubble trucks, 100's look like early Subaru Foresters, and 200's are fat highlanders. Even the 70s are ugly. All incredible performers, but you have to cover them in bumpers to get 'em looking decent.

You mean like this?

I kinda like it. :)

I used to HATE the 200. Then, one day i woke up and thought they looked great. It is kinda fat looking, and some angles are unflattering, but I am in love with it. So so comfortable. Of course, after driving a 40 for a few years as my DD, anything would feel like driving a Cadillac.

I say to the people who dislike them--Get behind the wheel of one; I think you'll enjoy it. Or better yet, take one off-road, and then make the judgement call. Of course, you can't take mine, because it never leaves the pavement and all that. Plus, the 6-bucket wash is very time consuming. :p

You best replace that headlight bulb!

Btw, does the 70 use 24v bulbs? I bet those bad boys are hard to get!

that's an optical illusion.

You are seeing the OEM Toyota fog lights that are not turned on.

Yes, they are 24v. I just bought 10 Hella's at once and that should last me years.

Also bought ten of each bulb on the truck. That's really the only way to deal with 24v stuff.

The spots as 12v and run through a Pyle 24v to 12v converter.

I don't hate the 200 and I would drive the s*** out of one. It just sucks that you have to bolt a bunch of crap to them to get them looking good. I drive a 100, and they're ugly as piss before you slap a bumper to hide the front end. It would be nice to see a design aesthetic that looks good right off the boat.
