Hello. I did a short search and did not find an answer to my question. I have 2 200 series, a 2018 with 70k miles on it and a 2021 HE with 20k miles. The HE is the two row version - no third row seats. It sits much higher in the rear than my 2018. My 2018 is starting to show its suspension age by being even more squat in the back than it was when new, and ride is a little rougher IMO. The ‘18 is our go to driver, trying to keep miles down on the 21. I often run pretty heavy with three dogs, and an ARB fridgeear and luggage…. Question - is the 2021 HE suspension different and if not, is there any reason not to put the HE suspension on my 2018? Any other recommendations?

There is a thread somewhere here where they compared the rear springs and they are indeed different…
But give that your 18 has rear sits and the HE doesn’t they may not be best suited. There are 3 row HE out there, not sure what the situation is with those… I assume they have the same springs as the non-HE

The parts diagrams show two rear springs for HE’s one with and one without third row seats (also listed as TRD and non TRD oddly enough).

I have had both spring sets side by side. HE rear springs are a smaller diameter wire and less wraps. I don't think anyone has tried it but I'm pretty sure they'd struggle to support a 3-row LC200.

You think going with new same springs is best? Maybe with OEM spacers for a little list? Will replace shocks at the same time…

I’m not sure what you are experiencing merits news springs or even shocks from an aging parts perspective. I have similar mileage on my 16 and I’m happy with the stock springs. However, I do have the 6112 Bilstein kit and that dramatically improves the overall riding experience from a controlled perspective, I’d say comfort wise is the same as stock…
So, to answer your question, get the front spacers if you want to balance the front with the rear rake, that’s how I started. Then moved to Bilstein 6112 at lowest setting without touching the rear. I honestly think this is when the truck rode best…
