They should be done today. They are taking quite a bit longer than I had hoped to heat/cool. Most of them are done. Just drilling holes and finishing the brackets. Hopefully will ship later this week.

So now I am wondering what we need to do with a big pile of rear screens. I would love to sell them but what’s the chance of that happening. We could have a collective burn somewhere, perhaps a side event at the Burning Man Festival. Alternatively, we could pile them all on a pallet and ship em off to Toyota and call the media to report the event, or maybe ship one set a day to individual Toyota design and marketing executives responsible for such a lousy addition to our vehicles. Perhaps the community has a much better idea for a statement; personally I like making a civil but disobedient one.

Be great if all us with removed screens could make them available for free so that no one who uses them and needs a replacement has to pay the obscene price Toyota wants for one. I figure as a result of @TrekboxX creative work on this, there are probably around 80 removed screens just sitting around now all over the country. That ought to knock the bottom out of the replacement cost market!

My daughter is 2.5 yrs old. I would remove the screens for now and replace in teh future. What i am doing figure daughter won't use now and if she ever does want them can just put the screens back in.
