In case you need to spend more money on your Land Cruiser

clicked the thread being excited about barn doors

find out we are talking about silly windows
It's funny isn't it - we have barn-door cruisers here but I wouldn't buy one. The split tailgate IMHO is a much more 'useable' design.

my kidneys and sperm are worth nothing. Otherwise I would give them all, for a proper, barn door Cruiser

It's annoying how much smaller the rear windows on the 200 are compared to the 100. My BIL has the Emuwings on his LX470 and they are super practical with a rear swingout because the rear window is so big.

@tbisaacs The 200 complies with the 2009 rollover crash standards that increased roof load requirement by 2x. Old standard was 1.5 times the vehicles weight. The 2009 standard is 3x the vehicles weight. That D-pillar could've likely been designed with a skinnier profile with the use of Ultra High Strength steel (or GigaPascal steel) but would come at a greater cost.

soon... (note: rear winglets not deployed at cruising altitude; just during TTL)
