You can modify a 200 to be 2wd by modifying the transfer case. Quite commonly done here in the GCC mainly for drifting/ acceleration and slight mpg/ tire wear gains. You switch back to 4wd by engaging the center diff. 4lo still works of course as center diff is locked.

That's an interesting mod. Makes it function more like a typical 4x4 truck without full time 4WD. Swapping in a Tundra transfer case could get the same thing.
Though I believe the Sequoia JF3A transfer case may be the most flexible as it offers 2wd, 4wd hi, 4wd hi ctr locked, 4wd Lo and 4wd Lo ctr locked. They could probably be had for reasonable cheap. With some switching electronics to sort. Wonder who might be the first to try?
