Did they change anything? Looks the same to me ....although maybe they screwed around with the lights a bit. Where's my 500 lb ft diesel?

Cool, so you're telling me this isn't the 2013 USDM headlight???

Guess it wasn't. You were close though.

Good find, looks like they are continuing to use the cheap plastic wood. Wow, what a mistake for a 80K car. How about just a freaking leather steering wheel and black trim like the 100. Just looks cheap and out of place.

that's the most intense car commercial i've ever seen!

The 1UR engine (4.6L) has been available in Japan for the LC (since 2008) and in the US in the Tundra (since 2010) and Lexus GX460 (LC Prado).

The 4.6L replaces the 4.7L 2UZ which was an available engine in the 200 line in the Middle East.

Nice engine IMO.

Great video. It shows the trajectory lines on the monitor. It is cool how they move with your steering and the two crossing lines show how far away the obstacle is away from the tire.

Turn Assist? Probably uses ABS actuators to slow down the inner wheels to allow it to turn similar to how a tank turns.

The turn assist looks like a computer controlled cutting brake. That's cool. Now I want one even more. I just wonder how all these high tech wonders will hold up over the long haul? How much easier would it be to just give the thing two lockers and call it good?

All these hi-tech additions are great and add a lot to the driving experience. Radar cruise control, trailer sway control, cameras, crazy climate controls ect. I know the foundation is solid but I do hope that this one lasts as long as my FZJ80 and my 40's. Please, please last as long as them. Sometimes I wish Toyota would just make available to us just a down to earth basic Land Cruiser.

They do, down under its called a 70 series V8 Diesel turbo. Basic, reliable, powerful. Over in Aussie they also have a GX 200 series that's basically a stripped down version of your 200 series without all the bells and whistles and gizmos.
