There are 8-10 of them around me. I know a guy with one, he has regrets. Better then a Rover but still British and engineering and made in the old Smart car factory in France.
Those things are absolutely sick! But I think the 3rd row is such a huge thing that maybe is a little under appreciated on this forum. Especially if you have a big family or like to take buddies on ski trips. The Magna Steyr build quality is unreal, and I understand that they helped develop the grenadier (they still produce Gelandewagens to this day).
Idk I’ll keep throwing $ at my 200 and add a suburban in a few years as my family keeps growing.

i would love a base suburban 4x4 in blood red with 3 benches
i can take so many friends and family and all the luggage - no silly roof racks needed
but american junk quality- nope cant spend $ on non J vin
excellent but reliability is terrible- do some research, will make u sad

There are 3 200’s on Ohio State campus I see all the time. I often wonder if that’s the hand me down, what’s mom and dad driving. Hopefully newer 200’s.
In my area, the 200s are pretty much all located at the houses along the Scioto.
You’ll see the occasional in the wild. But clean 100s and diesels 80s are popping up everywhere. There is a black 200 with a body kit??? I saw a few days ago but couldn’t catch up to it to get a pic. Never seen such a thing.
I, admittedly, am chasing something with Daimler logo at the moment as well. But, it also has portal axles sooo…..who wouldn’t.

I tried to put the wife in ‘22-‘23 GX to replace her C400, needs something more reliable, to move her older parents around, etc, and all she wants is a g wagen. All women want the g wagen. Boxy screams security and safety to them. And they are still commanding premiums even wholesale!
I hate offroading. I am a sports guy and bike guy at heart. Going fast is in my blood
My wife likes offroading. She constantly nags me about getting lifts and tires (done), wants bumprs and snorkels ( never, as I cant make my LCs any slower than they are by putting weight)
I want a G. All women around me want a G.

I saw one of these mythical creatures in the garage of my office building. Pristine 2021 LX 570 black on tan with a beautiful shine to it. Looked like it just drove off the dealer lot brand new. I wrote a note and pinned it on the window saying I'd be happy to buy it from the owner. Got an email back from the owner that he had recently acquired it from an older relative who just left in their garage for years. The beast only had about 5,000 miles on it.
Moral of the story: Get a rich older relative who doesn't put miles on their timeless treasures.
i was hoping covid would have killed a few of my older relatives so I could inherit these 3 sub 10k mile vehicles:
