Any thoughts on the best interior accessories for the 200-series? Everything from trash cans to tech gadgets to storage big and small.

I searched the forum and found myself waaaaaaayyy down a rabbit's hole.

#1 by far: Drawers. Do a search and pick your poison:

#2: TRD Start Button:

After that and on a more serious note, Weathertech floor mats and cargo liner (if you don't choose what's behind door #1).

-Drawers
-Weathertech Floor mats
-Molle Seat-back panels (I keep a TON of stuff readily accessible using these on both front-seat backs
-Bluetooth adapter for music (for older models without bluetooth audio)
-"Attic" ceiling mesh for storing blankets, jackets, or whatever else in a place that is out of the way and always accessible, with or without a loaded truck
-Tablet mount
-Phone mount
-Power Outlet extension (either from rear outlet and/or from an installed inverter)

Priority 1 for me: Weathertech floor mats, window tint and a V1. :D

Then additional USB outlets, wired to be constant on.

Also a fridge in the back so that leads me to say dual batts under the hood.

Best cheap mods:
  • Blind spot mirrors (<$10 on amazon)
  • Neodynium magnets to keep the tailgate cable from dangling out (<$5 at home despot)
  • Dual port USB cigarette lighter adapter (<$10 on amazon) to keep my kids mobile devices charged on long trips
After that it really depends on your use case. While I'd love a set of drawers I have 3 kids and since we occasionally use the 3rd row that idea is right out. My favorite mods are tires/wheels and roof rack, both for practicality and because it makes me smile every time to look at the truck now. The most useful mod has been my rear airbags which I use when towing (which is very often in the summer). Probably the best $ well spent was been sliders though.

2nd on the tray insert for the chill box, much better use of space

also, headphone extension cable and splitter for my two kids in the back. I hate having to replace batteries in wireless stuff.

the second tray insert for the chill box is great for me. I seem to carry a bunch of small items and its nice to have a home for those that's contained and easily accessible. get rechargeable batteries - CORDS SUCK

^^^ is that non smokers box essentially a felt lined ash tray? How's it different than the ash tray we find in our 200s? Thanks.

The difference is...it doesn't have the metal piece inside that squashes contents when you push it closed like on a normal ashtray insert.
It's just an open, felt-lined tray.
Personally, I find mine of limited use, since it's still sooo tiny, and tends to come out completely just a bit too easily. As a non-smoker, I like it OK for coins, etc....but it could have used the tiny space more efficiently IMHO.
