2 wheel drive 4 runner

I just bought a 4 runner with a 22RE and I noticed after buying it that its only 2 wheel drive, I was wondering if it is factory, or someone has done something crazy too it.

I've never witnessed a Gen2 2wd w/ a 4-cyl. Only one's I've seen are 3.0's.

There are generation 2s that are 4cyls.......

Rare, because they are also non-SR5s, and came a little bit stripped down....

The newest one I've seen was a 93 or 94. Came with plain steel wheels like my old hi-lux 4X4

i had a buddy that had a 2nd gen 4x4 sr5 with a 22re had an lc engineering stroker motor in it, pretty quick for a 4runner

Ahhhh yes a Mall Runner!

I too had a 94 2WD 4 er MALL Runner. Yes it is factory.

Find a transfer case, '85- front axle, some leaf springs, cut that IFS junk off and weld the good stuff on.
