If you post more and better photos people could give you a better valuation. Interior shots, shots of the rear especially the rear sill and quarters, underneath, bottoms of all the doors, etc. If it is all original it will be worth more. If the dash isn't hacked up another plus. "Light bondo" could be a concern.

I was just hoping to catch you in a weak moment... It is likely worth more than my $1,500 "fun" offer. :)

Well that didn't take much work to get it on the road. The break and clutch reservoir were bone dry and the pedals were dead. I just bleed the system and both came back to life. So far no leaks. Drained the gas and replaced the fuel filter. Threw in a new battery and put air in the tires. Turned the key and she started right up. Did a few laps around the blocks and everything seemed to ride ok.

I noticed that there was some coolant (I topped it off a few days ago) on the ground. Looks like it came from the over flow line. But that line was not in any reservoir. It was just tucked under the radiator. Is that normal? Doesn't seem right to me. It looked like it only leaked a bit while the engine was on. I can rig up a reservoir no problem but that just seemed weird to have the hose go nowhere.

All the gauges seem to work but the temp gauge seem to be stuck at high. Where on the engine is the sensor for this. I dont want to go to far without knowing what the engine temp is.

Thanks

Oh dang I was hoping to buy it at a discount because it wasn't running lol.

See photo - the fitting with the red top is the heat sensor.

Also, it is common for older models to not have an overflow bottle. As a matter of fact, a common fix apparently is a beer bottle. The first cruiser I looked at had that solution. :)
