just forget it, this is a pain in the ass, I'll take my toys and go home :flipoff2:

If everybody wants to do the BDOF thing, that is cool with me. I don't think I will be able to make it but I might jump in with somebody at the last minute if I can get me kitchen pass

If you guys want to, I'll get the parts together and we (Me, Greg, Juan, Carlos? and whoever can stop by) put the clutch in next weekend (not this coming weekend). I'll get the flywheel out this weekend so I can get it surfaced and ready to go back in. We can also do a little work on anybidy elses rig if they. Not sure if Greg is done yet with his. Regardless, we can get the clutch in, maybe the HEI, and drink a beer or two and have some burgers or something. Maybe we can figure out what the hell is wrong with my Disco too

Anyways, I'll plan on doing the clutch that weekend and whoever can make it is welcome to come.

This also brings us to the next HAMOM candidate, so post up your nominations and weekend that works for everybody

we'll do the clutch on the 17th

Everything is here and ready to go.

Need to get some tranny fluid and we should be ready to go.

I can't find a pilot bearing puller though, - any idea where to rent one? Napa didn't have any and neither did pepboys.

Need to get a few things at Wally though, spare rags, coolant for the radiator. Gonna do some prep work tonight.

Who's coming? Need to get a head count so I got enough burgers and dogs.

Just make sure you have a dremel on hand with a cutoff wheel and a small cold chisel. I've used all kinds of stuff to get them out. Last time was the end of a 3/8 ratchet. It just fit in and had a little taper to it I beat the other end with a deadblow. It came right out. I've never had sucsess with packing grease and a dowel. It always blew out the sides of the bearing.

UPDATE!!!

Got the bearing puller.

Will get the Gear Oil and hoses on the way home

WE WILL WORK ON THIS TONIGHT - not tomorrow!!!

Hope to finish this tonight. Everybody is welcome over. Burgers and dogs and chips.

Me and Juan will be there, anybody else?

I would.. if I had a car.. a TAxi to leesville road is just damn expensive.

and If I hadn't gotten surgery today..

Carlos - don't sweat it. We didn't get too far....we ran out of rear main seals :D

Hope everything went alright!

We went through two. One we could have left in and it would have been fine i think but i'd rather get one in there 100% right rather than have to pull everything later.
