They had one a few years ago, might even be longer than that. B.I.N then was about the same as the starting price on the new auction. And, the video posted on this one is the same one posted back then. It was linked and talked about back then, but I'm not about to start trying to hunt that thread down. rth4 sumthin-sumthin might have been the OP, but don't quote me.

Nice, but that vid is from Jun 08', i remembered seeing the exact procedure of the dude starting it way back when i was searching for a diesel to buy. Could it be they still haven't sold it yet?

40,000-60,000 miles!!

IF that is true that would be a steal at $7500

i agree, if in good condition, if it was actually here then it IS a good price especially with the price of the JPY lately.

I too have seen this video sometime back. I'm about a 30$ gas ride from them. If someone needs a set of eyes on it, I could help. My FT 24 valve has 12k miles on it. The PO paid $11k for the half cut out of Australia. If this is what they say it is...it would make someone very happy. These are getting harder to find.....and this one seems priced pretty fair.

considering those are pics of another motor, not sure but all diesel 80s are full time 4WD.

That's a HF2A (full time non viscous tcase) Marks makes a kit to convert em to part time.
HF1A part time cases are hens teeth... and will require longer rear driveshaft.
Search function is your friend.

Looking at the photo of the motor I would swear it's a 5 speed!! Anybody have dealing with this company and their reputation. I emailed them two days ago with no response.

Nope, definitely an Auto. Early one by the looks of it.. Can't see a TPS on the inj pump.
Would be suitable to swap a 91-92 FJ80

Nope I already sold 3 HDJ 80's this year in Panama.2 had a manual trans and one the auto, all 3 of them where PART TIME 4X4.I know in my home country (Belgium) all 80 series where sold Full Time.

Just my 2 cents

good to know, i have not seen any 80s from SA. Japan, Canada and the US were full time.
are those ones factory part time or converted over?

Factory part time,I believe that all the HZJ 80's here in Panama where sold as Part time because of the underpowered 1HZ(not 100% sure though).Again in Europe you could only get the HZJ 80 in basic version whithout the "luxury" options:hhmm:

In the HDJ80 you can find here both Full and Part time.

Mot.....'mud guy that used to live in Hamamatsu, Japan now living on this side of the pond has a 1990 HDJ 81 that is part time as well, factory equipped AFAIK.

FWIW,
Gord
