1FZFE/ FZJ80R Rev bouncing

Hey all, I’ve got a problem with my cruiser, the revs bounce up and down till she stalls out, I just fitted a new MAF sensor and she runs a bit better but still rev searches, do you reckon maybe the IAC?

did you clean out and make sure that MAF connector is on good and tight? that can cause what you're describing too..

just something to check. my MAF connector was loose (cracked) and it caused the truck to stumble during idle then die.

Nah she seems okay there, I just took iac out and she was a bit tight to close up, so thinking the Iac got stuck?

I'm not familiar with how that should feel if its acting up or old..

Could be a million things. When did it start and did you do any work on the truck prior to its starting to stumble? Does it run better after it comes to temperature? Could be a vacuum leak. Tons of posts on here with the same issue and troubleshooting ideas.

Mine does this but runs fine when it warms up. I'm 99% certain it's a vacuum leak, but I have yet to chase it down.
