Edit: 9/17/19, the harness is no longer included with this. I pulled pieces for another project. I should be able to include some plug pigtails for anything directly attached to the engine like the carb and dizzy.

I have for sale a Carbureted 1FZ head with everything attached to convert a 1fzfe to a carb set up. The parts are all Toyota parts and were pulled from a good running 80 series that had just under 120K miles. I am asking 700.00 for the set up. It is located in northern, NM.

I would prefer local pick up but would consider shipping, buyer pays shipping.

Can you include the clutch pedal, clutch cylinders etc and gas/brake pedals... or did that stuff go to your project?

What would a 1FZ-F need a harness for?

Yeah really, does it even have any sensors besides oil pressure and water temp?

Same thing an F, 2F, 3F or any other carbureted engine needs a harness for. The Engine Room Wire No 1 is still a fair amount of wiring on my '78 40.

Unless you've built your own harnesses that don't look like cobbled up webs, not hearing any crap of 'just build your own' because, while it sounds easy, it's much easier replicating an OE with whatever oddball connectors Toyota decided to use on that model, that day, and more elegant than a Painintheass kit or the autoelectric DIY aisle at Napa.

Pics?

Would that include the engine room wiring harness?

I did not get home in time to take pictures, I will try tomorrow. I have a video I tried to send you but it is to large as soon as i figure out how to make it smaller i will send it to you. I was planning to keep the harness. The engine doesn't take much wiring to run. The only wiring I see is to the alternator, starter, plug to the distributor, plug to the carburetor, and a plug on the intake manifold. I am sure there I missed one water temp, and oil pressure. I would be willing to leave the plugs and cut a pigtail for those that are connected to the motor.

I am planning on keeping the pedal assembly and master cylinders for my project. I may be able to modify a 40 series pedal assembly for my build so I might be willing to sell the pedal assembly, I just have not looked at that part of my build yet.

It is a pretty simple harness, that is why I was going to use it originally for my project. Because of that I think it could be fitted in an early 40 with out too much trouble.

I will sell the engine less the carburated parts, clutch, and bellhousing for 900.00. Replace your tired 1fz with this 120k engine.

Update 12/6/2016 : If I sold the set up with the h151 transmission would it change the interest for anyone? If i included the h151 I would ask 4500.00 for the set up. I am considering this because I will have to replace the input shaft on the h151 to fit my build and am considering just buying the correct h151 for my needs rather than take this one apart. I could include the harness for this price.

just an fyi- i think someone is selling h151's plus full kit for $2700.

I have seen that kit and I believe the kits are for the fj80 same as I have here. I need the h151 that mounts to a 2uz.

I am selling the 1fz and h151 together for 4500.00 with 120k on them. The buyer would still need to source some parts but that depends on what they plan to install it in.

The h151 I have came in a fj80 behind a 1fz. I am building a project with a 2uz, the h151 did come behind the 2uz but the input shaft is longer than the shaft on the h151 that I have. I can order the correct input shaft and bearing retainer to make it work if I had to but thought I would offer it with the engine to see if it would help sell it. Then I would just import the trans that I need to mount up to the 2uz.

Delancy I don't mind but if you have follow up questions or comments we could chat in my build thread here. My Slow 45/80 Build

I have noticed the 2uz h151 trans seem harder to find.

Could you send me the pictures you got of the 2uz/h151 trans. If the shifter is 7" more to the rear on that model it will change my plans. I have already used the h151 I have to moc up my engine and body mounts around. Seven more inches to the rear will not work for me. I will send you a message with my email if you will send me those pictures or feel free to post them in my build thread. That would be good information to share.

The transmission and bellhousing are sold.
