1999 transmission fluid interval

It matters. There is ATF that is Dexron II compatible, but not Dexron III compatible. I happen to have some of them.
News to me. I've not seen but not looked either.

This is all I use Mobil 1™ Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid | Mobil™ Motor Oils keeps things simple in garage. As stated before "I like the stuff." If you look you'll see list of compatibility at bottom of page.

You may have missed the link I provided (imbedded) earlier DEXRON - Wikipedia gives some interesting history.

Sure thing @bucfi. I strongly recommend you really go over this rig inspecting. I've just spend a month inspecting the 07 I just bought, and bought $550 worth of parts. I'm now starting my wrenching and just order $200 more in parts, I will find even more before I'm done. I average $1K on each restoration not including fluids, tires, interior or body. I work to find only singular part like seal, or hub flange that need replaced not whole components if possible, keeps cost down. Once done this 07 will be ready for coast to coast drive, worry free as one can be.

Had my fluid exchanged by Slee at 120k. Had drain and fill at Lexus at around 100k. Mines a 2005. Will do the exchange again at 180k. Only at 145k now
