Up for sale is my 1999 Lexus LX470 Smoky Topaz. As I have previously posted this is in essence a two owner vehicle. The original owner kept it from new until june/july 2016, then sold it to Carmax. The regional purchasing guy bought it for himself to tow his boat to the lake in Houston, and sold it a couple of months later (daughter announced her wedding) to offset cost for said wedding. I have owned it since, putting roughly 4000 miles with zero issues and made the following modifications/adjustments:

ZERO RUST, NO DINGS IN BODY, COUPLE OF RUB MARKS ON BUMPERS, no rips or tears in interior. Updated with Pics

Replaced struts in hood and tailgate

Replaced AHC Fluid

Replaced brakes (pads only, rotors looked great)

Removed running boards (still have them if you want them)

Installed KO2 tires (Discount tire with replacement certs)

Bitchin cassette to headphone adapter (just kidding, these are like $5, but do allow you to play your ipad/ipod over the nakamichi sound system)

I’ve driven it back and forth between Corpus and Houston and a couple of trips to the national forest.

Things that DON’T work:

Electronic telescope function of steering wheel, tilt works fine, telescope does not (manually set at 3/4 out)

Why am I selling?

I love the LX but I am consolidating vehicles which means the LX and my mustang are going away to be replaced with a pickup (the best of neither world, but a compromise).

COST: $8,000

While this may seem like the higher end of the cost spectrum, Lexus repainted it in 2009 (110k miles) most failure/maint parts replaced at (117k-119k miles) see the recorded service history.

Basically I am selling it to MUD members for what I have in it with initial purchase cost, and tires w certificates. Im eating the brakes/struts/ahc fluid (will include rest of a container of AHC fluid), and bitchin cassette adapter ;)

Available for pickup after 12 March 2017 (have to pickup family from cruise in Galveston and not enough room in mustang) in either Houston or Corpus Christi

Feel free to PM here or direct email at coastalcop@hotmail.com for further information or if you have specific pictures you want taken.

ok here are some pics (hopefully) for those that asked. Complete disclosure, I noticed that the "D" light is out on the dash ;)

I will upload in a few posts to try and get all the angles folks want

last interior. FYI I have the third row seats (in perfect condition) just too lazy to install them for pics (only to take them out in two days for luggage space)

That's the best cheap mod ever. I was so happy when mine burned out. Probably why it sold so quickly. Congrats on the quick sale.
