1999 LX 470 Serpentime belt??

Will a 1999 Toyota Land Cruisers serpentime belt, fit a 1999 Lexus LX 470. Just trying to save some time as the Toyota Stealership is just down the road!

Get LX belt

I tryed that trick last year, and :whoops:. When I compared original 99LX belt with LC one, I found, that LX is narrower tnan LC.
So, go with 99LX belt only.

Ok wife came back from the Lexus dealer and she paid $47 bucks for an OEM belt!

Same price for Toyota version. However, the ones for 2004+ are $82!

Why just the serpentine? Did you change the timing belt already?

FYI: My timing belt condition worsen quite considerably between 95K miles to 110K miles when I finally changed it.

Yeah, you just remain me - I have to replace it soon. I used to replace it every 60k. I will get it for $ 20 from:
