For sale is a 1999 Lexus LX 470. Car is finished in golden pearl color with tan interior. The car is in good condition and is mechanically sound. Carfax report available. Message me with any questions. Not looking to trade. I have one too many cars! This is a great reliable vehicle. You will not find a more well-sorted LX470 within 500 miles at this price. Currently has just under 192k miles. I've owned this car since July 2018.
$9800 OBO
Many more photos and Carfax here:
Many new parts over the last few years of ownership (see below for details of repairs/maintenance). Changed with synthetic Mobil1 and Toyota oil filter every 5000 miles. I only used this car during winter and for hauling things. I've been on long-distance trips with it and have no issues. This was a Florida car until 2013 so the undercarriage and frame are in great shape for their age. The original hydraulic AHC suspension has been replaced with a traditional strut and spring set up from Strutmasters (not sure when this was done). Drives excellent and very smooth riding SUV. The tires and wheels were from a new 2016 Tundra. Currently have about 15k miles on tires and wheels.
Interior: Interior is in great shape, light wear on carpets. The seat covers appear to be aftermarket but are in excellent condition. Has front heated seats w/ power and memory function. 3rd row seats can be removed. I've also added a JVC unit that has Apple CarPlay and Rockford Fosgate front speakers. Rearview camera was also installed. The previous owner has added a roof mounted DVD player. I also installed a new wood and leather-trimmed steering wheel in 2019.
Exterior: Body is in good condition, there are some rust spots around the windshield frame and the driver side door sill. There are paint peels on the plastic body molding panels (I have color matched spray paint for this). I have an OEM underbody engine bash plate that I have not installed. Will be included with car.
Mechanical: Many new parts have been replaced over my years of ownership. The engine idles smoothly and is responsive. No issues with the 4x4 system, high and low gears engage as expected. Center locking diff also works.
Parts/maintenance:
2018 (mostly done right after my purchase):
