Parking is getting too cramped in my driveway so its time to thin the heard. I purchased this cruiser about two years ago when it was traded in at the Honda dealership I work at. It was a local truck so I decided to check the service history on it and come to find out it had belonged to the owner of the local Toyota dealership who is quite the land cruiser aficionado. All of the maintenance was done while he was in owner ship including the first timing belt back in 2006. While in his owner ship the a BDS lift was installed which included torsion bars, old man emu rear springs and old man emu shocks all around. A slee front diff drop was also installed. The truck has the factory rear e locker and center diff locker as well. It did need a few things when I got it which included new Toyota cv axles, a new (not remanufactured) Toyota steering rack, steering rack bushings, and an o2 sensor. I also installed some slee adjustable upper control arms to set the camber to -.75 degrees. Oh I also installed a Doug Thorley stainless cat back exhaust system. The exhaust was a little too noisy for my taste so I purchased a stainless 2.5 in muffler and removed the last portion of the Doug Thorley set up and added the muffler. The Doug Thorley set up is slip fit with clamps so the muffler can be removed and the straight pipe can be put back on simply by removing one clamp. I then installed the arb front bumper and metal tech sliders and Baja roof rack. I also have the optional light bar for the Baja rack but I left it off because it wont fit in my garage with the light bar attached. The new bfg all terrain tires have less that 4k miles on them. There is absolutely zero rust on this truck and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It will need the second timing belt job done on it which I was planning on doing in the next few months. as well as replacing the heater hose t's. This truck was primarily driven by my girlfriend and when she put 40k worry free miles on in a year and a half I decided she needed something a little more economical for her commute. Since I got her out of the cruiser it has primarily set in my driveway the last few months hence the sale. I also have a diesel 40 and diesel 60 to drive when I want to go for a drive in a cruiser. If someone is interested and would like me to do the timing belt job before purchase I would be happy to do so for an additional 500 dollars which is roughly what all the parts will come out to. I would not install anything other than oem Toyota parts.
Everything on the truck works great with the only exception being the sunroof. It didn't work when I got it and I haven't looked into as to why. the steering wheel and driver seat does show signs of 214k miles of riding. A/c is ice cold
