I am the second owner of this car and have owned it since 1999. It came off a one year lease turn in.

182,000 miles

This has been my wife’s vehicle all this time and it has been an awesome SUV. It has required minimal repairs over the years other than regular oil changes, brakes and tires. I will try to describe all of its details below. I have purchased a newer LX470 as a replacement and have misgivings about doing this and this car continues to serve us well and is still relevant.

I have created a flickr page with 49 pictures. Access it here:

1998 Toyota Landcruiser VIN JT3HT05J0W005000

Price: $8295

Good:

Runs great, no known mechanical issues.

Timing belt just done at 176,000 miles

All gas lines and main rear brake line just replaced this year

New heater/ac control panel and heater blower just installed. AC,heat, etc. all work great

Known EFI issue repaired. No problems in over 2 years

Two key fobs included and valet key

Remote start system installed

All manuals and most receipts included.

Windows, seat controls, seat heat, rear heat all work

Wood trim on interior replaced about 2 years ago

Full tune up, plugs, serpentine belt, filters, etc. done two years ago

Bad:

Some scratches and small dings. Nothing that wouldn’t be expected on a 20 year old car

Front seat leather needs to be replaced. Wool seat covers included. Drivers side especially worn.

Sun roof does not work

If you know these vehicles you are aware of their reputation and durability. This is a great example at a very good price.

Great! My daughter is 2 years out now and watching the game yesterday made me nostalgic. We really enjoyed her time there and visiting. I'm a golfer and on graduation day I got a round of golf in at the Walker course. They kept my name in the system since her first year and I asked thrm how many rounds I had played. 41!!!

Great school and atmosphere. Go Tigers!

Wow, you really liked playing that course! Did you get a chance to play any others in the Upstate? What did your daughter major in?

I looked around and any of the other decent courses there are private andceben with that I was told by folks that live there that it was still the best around.

I used to stay in Athens once in awhile and played the UGA course a number of times. Athens is great.

She was a communications major and has a job in NYC somewhat in her field.

Where are you from? What is your daughter studying ?

I'm originally from Miami but live in Greenville (moved her in '98 after 7 years in Atlanta) so only 37 miles from Clemson. Daughter is in Theater/Stage Management. One of only 11 accepted into the program. Still amazed she ended up there as for years she talked of going to school up north or out west. Got accepted to DePaul which at one time was her first choice but after auditions at Clemson, it became #2. Haven't played the Walker course in a while but will do so soon I'm sure! Actually getting to play Eastlake in Atlanta Thursday! Can't believe they are allowing a day tournament there this close to the championship but I'm glad for the opportunity!
