It's possible Josh is really someone else ie "going to Iraq threads so I can't pick up your call" type of deals!!! Seems I touched a cord....Don't choke on your TLC....WEAK!!!!

Keep it at 10K

Too many want pics and wish they could afford it. Too many want to blast. This rig is worth more. Just because he had it listed too low does not mean anything. I would do exactly the same. It is worth $11K so whoever gets it got a super deal and if you knew this rig you would agree. It is better than he represents.

If had received the pictures u said u were gonna take then I would have arranged my flight and gave u the 9 k in cash. But since u were persuaded by greedy wannabe dirtbags then u just lost out. As one individual posted "integrity" is something u lack. Karma always pay back it won't be today or tomorrow but hopefully really soon. Eat ur 10k and cut the salesman bull****.

I'm sorry if your feeling were hurt, however Josh's name is on the title NOT yours. If he wants to ask 100k for it tomorrow so be it!

Its called a free market society, look it up!

I don't think his feelings were hurt....Actually i know they were not hurt. It comes down to having a SHADY selling practice. He posted a price, got offers, decided SUDDENLY it was too low and then decided it was better to have a bidding war. Come on now this guy is in SALES.

As i stated in previous posts and as anyone who has sold anything from a pair of shocks to a vehicle. You always research what they are selling for.

Heres a word of advice, although i'm not in sales. Set your price higher so there is room to negotiate or set it for the price you want then use the word " FIRM ON PRICE". It seems like the normal practice people use in the for sale section.

I would do it and so would you! I am sure if the Town and Country market was hot and you mistakenly priced it to cheap you would adjust according........ Wouldn't you? :steer:

P.S. Wanna 40th??? :)

I wouldn't do it, no. Been there before (in a public forum), and I just sucked it up when I realized I could have made a little more that I asked. Like I said no hard feelings. It's a free market and you are welcome to do as you please. GLWS.

Pricing

There are lots of opinions here but the facts are this guy has help others with free time in working on the rigs as well as one who has taken the time to assist or provided information. If the mud site is really as good as all you think, then this decision makes a lot of sense to me. It is a free market society and in the real work, the only issue was he priced it too low, corrected it and we all move on. I am a real fan. You can contact Garth in Dallas. I bought a set of 40th anniversary wheels from him. He had it listed an I told him he had it @100 too low and gave him $500 in stead of $400 which is what he wanted. He took the total $500 and did not complain. I never blasted him. He was right and i was right. Live with it. The $10K is a steal.
Contact Garth. I guarantee he will tell you I told him this and he accepted this additional funds. I would buy everything from him in the future.

Hey, i commend you on giving your money away. Also i agree with you that the seller of the rims didn't complain. Hell i wouldn't complain either, if i sold someone something and he gave me 20% more than i was asking.

Also re-read your post I'm quoting above. You make no sense. Was the word of the day on your Dilbert daily word peel away calender "Free market society"
Maybe tomorrow's word will be "Ethical" Share it with your friend.

All good ......I can always find another one, I still have my 100 series. I wanted to buy this one to add to my collection of Toyota's. Im glad I didn't waste my time flying out that far for something that wasn't real. I know others in the past have got burned from dealing with people on the forum and hopefully people will learn from this. Don't post stuff for sale u havent done research on.

I did look up free market to satisfy my crying as some might say. Seen it too many times no integrity and no word on what they post. Have a wonderful day!

Once again, I was not try to be shady or sneaky with the re-price. Just realized I was a little too low on the price. I was also being honest with the reasoning as to why. I sent emails and text messages to all of the folks who were/are interested in the rig letting them know of my decision/reasoning. Yes, should have done some more research on what the rig could have fetched before posting. I have been a member of this forum since 2003 so I should have known better. For that I apologize--Josh

I did not give my money away nor should this guy. The point which may be a little above your capacity to understand was he figured it out. The point is more simplistic than your response. Simply - He priced it below and figured it out. My seller, Garth, figured it out as well but accepted the money. You did not call him a sleeze ball but said if i were stupid enough to tell him than shame on me. My problem is I have the financial Where with all to make those decisions. and if this seller decided the same, it does not make him a monster?

If you think I gave him a $100 free gift, then I will give you a email and you send me the money. I did the rigtht thing and so is this guy. Live with it. If you go to Walmart and something is scanned inc0rrectly i suspect you will take the money and run. I wont and neither will this person.

You still do not make sense. Maybe partial cents to yourself, but at least it some cents. Its kind of ass backwards, but hey. I'm not the one auctioning off the LX.

EDIT..... Ha, ha. I figured it out. Garth made his pricing mistake and then ACCEPTED the money for which he priced it. Man i think your better off not being his attorney.

I don't think any of this is helping your chances on the sale in my opinion.

Not a bad rig or bad price, but all this other crap is a turn off and might make one question your ethics.

Wish I'd seen this one before I bought my current rig. Nice truck, reasonably priced at 10K.

OP, if you wanna give me a 2 wk raincheck to unload my truck locally, I can call you on where to meet up to get your 10K....

Is this LX still for sale? I have had some trouble sending you a PM, but I'm deployed to the hinterlands and the internet here is ridiculously slow.

Rob

tried to send you a PM but no room at the inn......

:(
