It's pretty, but way overpriced.

There was a LX450 in Pensacola that sold this weekend - 119k miles, triple locked, one owner, garage kept, all Toyota maintenance records since new. It was seriously mint condition, with the exception of a few scratches on the front bumper. Listed for $15k. I almost bought it. In fact, I'm kind of kicking myself for not. It was beautiful.

I just sourced a 97' LX450 with 105K miles for a client. You can find the same quality for half the price.

Count me in.
You are missing out on a great LX450 when you dismiss the one I have for sale. Don't
just look at the mileage when you buy, you need to look st the whole package. The one
I have with 270 on the clock has had at least the head serviced and runs better than
my LX with 200K and better that the one I sourced that only has 105K on the clock.

Hmmm? Still gonna post those compression nums and some interior pics? I hear you about 270K, but that's a special case for sure. Just based on what I've seen here. But GLWS...still watching.

I went to get a look at this LX 450 on Saturday. We met in Tampa had lunch and talked land cruisers. This guy really knows land cruisers. He's a down to earth guy and he knows good beer too.

This is absolutely a mint condition land cruiser. Some things that I noticed are there is literally absolutely zero rust, none. The underside is super clean, underneath the drivers seat on the bottom of the vehicle it's just beautiful steel / metal. No sign of any leaks now or even in the past. The leather seats are impeccable, they are custom replacements with receipts of $3300 including new oem seat cushions just because the old ones were just that. The owner has more receipts than any other vehicle I've looked at ever. The brand new oem carpet is so smooth and soft, I felt like I should take off my sandals before sitting down. Every maintenance item I could think of off of the Slee List in the FAQ is done.

The drive. WOW! Incredible power compared to my old land cruiser. It's like it's brand new. The steering is perfect, drives like a dream. I felt bad for adding almost 25 miles to the odometer but I really wanted to get a feel for the gal.

It's obvious it has never been off the pavement. No lift, no sliders, no CDL, no mods at all.

For someone that truly wants the best of the best this is the one.

I made an offer of $22K for it but he very politely declined. The truck may be worth the $30,000 he's asking but I just don't see it. I think he'd take a less but I don't have it to offer right now. The seller has another LX 450 that he is currently restoring that may be more for me as he said it would be around $20K which gives me money to put on an ARB front bumper, Bowfish rack, and Slee rear bumper.

Wow!

Wow!

At that price you can get a nice low mileage diesel hdj81 locked and all imported to your door.
