[STRIKE]$20,000[/STRIKE] (make an offer) PICS on page 3 also

[STRIKE]$18,000 -- NEW Price[/STRIKE]

I bought the truck from Todd Campbell (mud name: 1972fj40). I love it. It goes ANYWHERE!! It is my dream truck and I don't want to sell it. I am, however, in need of cash. So I may sell it if I get the right offer.

It has a totally rebuilt motor at 171,298 with supercharger installed. Over $12,000 put into engine. Ralph Hayes toyota, in Greenville SC, completed the work and the work is completely warranteed by Ralph Hayes. I have all the receipts for the motor rebuild and parts. Everything from the bearings to the timing chain and head has been rebuilt. The interior is in great condition. The carpet has been covered with mats, the back seat has a canvas cover the removable rear seats work and are also in great condition. Here are the pics of the head and the supercharger being installed.

Please contact Todd Campbell or others from upstate cruisers and they will tell this cruiser has been done right!.

Hee is Todds thread for the sale last year:

Thanks Todd for the bump.

Yup, this is a great rig. Maybe I won't have to sell it and move on with the things I want to do.....

...but as of now, it is still for sale, unfortunately.

not really, just need cash infusion for an acute problem. Hopefully it will be resolved soon and I won't have to sell. We'll see. I was in love with the truck you just sold on ebay. I would love that truck!!

But alas....it is gone.

alas, I think it might not be. stupid b@$tard just asked me through ebay if he could pay $1000 and drive it back to Canada with my plates. Oh but he'd make sure he carried the insurance. I just responded He\\ No and F*** You.

was just messing about you looking for another truck and hope your problem goes away.

i know, no issues. i hope your sale works out.

bummmmmmp.....

Did an engine tune up on "the rig" today:

New Air Filter
New Spark Plugs
New PCV Valve
Enigine Light Trouble codes checked for any future issues (all's well)
One can of BG 44K to keep fuel system clean

Well, you know the sound Mel Gibson's "last of the V-8's" sounded like in "Mad Max"? That's what "the rig" sounded like on the interstate today as we blew past traffic. I love the supercharger and the horse power this truck has.

Hoping I won't have to sell but still......sigh......for sale.....

End of Transmission - Malcolm

bump....

It get's 10 MPG. It needs premium gas for the supercharger.

I have gotten a couple of offers that have confused me a little. Somehow my truck seems to be viewed, by some, as overpriced. I had one offerer who said anything over 10K was too much. I'm not sure what is being missed. Let me reemphasize;

THIS TRUCK HAS A NEW ENGINE AND A NEW SUPERCHARGER ADDED.

This is not the usual 170,000, FJ80 with some minor mods, rust for $8-10K. I am not going to give this truck away, please consider this in any offers.

Also, I have been making a lot of trade offers on posts and that seems to be distracting to some as well, I guess. In response to this I can only say:

..deal with it, that's a "you" problem.

Thanks for letting me rant. :o

End of transmission.........malcolm

And all work was done by Ralph Hays Toyota, the best Cruiser dealership in the Carolinas.

If you were interested in a trade for my 40, and I could afford the gas I would be interested.

Jeremy

Thanks Mikey for reminding me. Sometime the pressure valve has to go.......a little.

If you are serious about your 40, let's talk.

Sorry about all the PM's. Just trying to move the truck.
