Hello,

I just purchased this one owner and cruiser out of Indian Wells, CA. It has 61k org miles and is primo condition. In fact it is too nice for the winter truck I wanted. It has all options including diff lock, the thing is like new. I had it Ziebert'd last weekend when I thought it was going to drive it here in Michigan. Before that the underside was like a vehicle that just rolled off the production line its gorgeous. No rust, dirt, etc. Its on ebay now and I will be posting pictures this weekend. This thing could be in a museum.

Thanks

I'm not sure Michigan was the brightest state to import the truck into to try and sell it at that kind of price. Toyotas are not real popular here anyway.

The whole thing sounds sketchy to me.

What was the town you bought this in? Indian Wells is not a town. I highly doubt you made your way out to this Podunk desert valley to get a Land Cruiser just to turn around and sell because it's too nice.

I call B.S. :ban:

Indian Wells, CA is on the AutoCheck several times.
Check out the AutoCheck on the auction page, it does look very good- just sayin

<P>Hello Guys, pictures are coming today!&nbsp; Finally home from business trip and yes I got this thing at a good price.&nbsp; Bought it site unseen and never expected this to be in this condition.&nbsp; I figured why let it sit outside all winter and de-grade its condition.&nbsp; I only havbe on garage spot.&nbsp; Either this or my other car sits outside.&nbsp; The whole original point of buying this was so my other car wouldn't have to sit ouside.&nbsp; And yes kind of BS my first post is a FS.&nbsp; But I think all you Cruisers fans can appreciate not wanting this jewel to rot outside.&nbsp; This forum rocks, helped me fix the power passenger seat (little white plug)!</P>

Completely agree. I think you should be required a minimum number of posts before being able to post a for sale thread.

TRU DAT! :hillbilly:

Also not sure why weird symbols are in that last post.

Because you are cutting and pasting html code. Now why would you do that?

Agree. That's the way it is on other forums. Makes it difficult sometimes for people established on one forum to post on another where they are not established, but it weeds out the used car sales people (not saying that's what happening here, but could be).

This thread makes me feel pretty damn good about mine! I just picked up a 96 with a true 37K miles on it for WAY less than this guy is asking. I just got lucky though.

Beautiful truck...I'll be interested to see what the market dictates...

I must say...this is a clean looking 97FZJ 40th Edition, sage, with lockers. It's a dream car and even the seats look new.

However, you'll have no money left to armor and lift, so you can scratch it and dent it on the trail...just saying...

thats right! the very last thing we would want is someone stumbling upon a nice cruiser and giving all the aficionados here an opportunity to own it. instead, he should be banned from the classifieds and forced to sell it on a local used car lot, because he never posted here before.

geniuses.
