Welcome to the addiction!!! I just moved to St. Pete, so that makes a few of us local.. if you need anything hit me or @musthave up. Nice rig by the way... Cheers!

That sounds amazing. I have a place in those parts (Highlands, NC). I'd definitely be down.
What a small world, we have a cabin in Sapphire.

Our North Georgia trip leaves on Wednesday evening October 14th. Wheel & ride on the 15th, 16th, 17th, and morning of the 18th. We usually head back on that Sunday afternoon. We camp at Tallulah river campground just northwest of Clayton. It's a great time for sure.

As for a local meetup, I'm interested.

Well today was supposed to entail removing and replacing my front O2 sensor, but after I realized I didn't have the right tools, my friend and I decided to wash our trucks. The interior of my 80 was in dire need of a scrub down, so we went ahead and pulled out the front seats and center console and really scrubbed and vacuumed everything. I tried to scrub the headliner with some soap and water as well, and it really helped freshen it up. Some photos from today:

That last photo looks like one of those Playboy photos of the Playmate of the month in a soapy shower. Cruiser porn right there.

It is my favorite part of the truck... the taillights and the emblems are just so sexy.

Painted my grill/headlight trim black. I hate the chrome trim. The taillights have a black trim from the factory and I think painting the front matches it well.

Also painted the brake booster that I had installed to prevent rust.

Prinsu rack arrives this week!

My prinsu is on the way too!

Went to the Fort Desoto Park today and drove around. The suspension is making some odd creaks and pops when I go over certain bumps... I am wondering what it could be.

Wow, I've kayaked around that park a bajillion times. We occasionally stay in that massive white building at the base of the skyway bridge.
Beautiful truck!

Thanks! Yeah it's a great place to kayak. My dog is in heaven when I take him there.

Love the truck and love the Blue Merle Aussie. Is his left eye split bi-color? If so, that is cool, and kind of rare.

My dad and I raised, trained and worked Australian Shepherds when I was a kid.

Yes it's split in one eye. That's my buddy's dog, and it's funny because my Catahoula (the white and tan dog in photo) has marble eyes as well, blue and brown.

Here's a picture of David watching anxiously as I stand in his engine bay...
