I'll do that. Thanks for the input. The more publications the better.

Thanks for the links!

BUMP.

It seems that Birfmark's link to his FSM has died. I've uploaded the latest version of his FSM to my sugarsync account and shared it as a public file. All are welcomed to it, be sure to thank birfmark for his hard work and buying a star membership for Mud would be a great way to show Woody some appreciation. I posted these on the original FSM thread but they are buried deep in the bowels of that thread. Here are the new links, as far as I know Sugarsync doesn't limit the bandwidth on downloading these files so have at.

1996 Toyota Land Cruiser Repair Manual

1996 Toyota Land Cruiser EWD

1996-97 LX450 Body Shop Manual

Thanks for the upload to Sugarsync… that was super easy and I've been meaning to download a copy of this. I tried to purchase a nice set of FSM books for my '96 off of ebay and it turned out to be a nightmare. I've normally had good luck with ebay, but this turned out to be sort of a bait and switch with a lot of back and forth emails, etc… I finally just asked for my money back. i still want an original set someday and I'm willing to pay for it at a reasonable price, but they are hard to find. Anyway thanks again, Clay

 Thanks to all for your efforts.
I'm sure this will help many of us.

Joe W.

Joe, for what it's worth, I have also picked up the Hanes manual for these cruisers (I feel all the info I can get on repairs is good) and in there they go through a pretty good debug of fuel problems on our Cruisers. I was impressed with the detail in this area. I got it on Amazon for $24ish bucks… may lead you through a process that is successful in identifying the issue. Could be a vacuum line, could be the MAF, could be something with a bad signal to the ECM, but if it runs when the fuel pump is jumpered to "on" there is something wrong with signals somewhere.

Keep us posted as to what you find. I for one will learn from it. Clay

As of today the downloads are:

FSM- 2389
EWD- 683
Body Shop Manual- 7 (recently added)

Still if anyone has any Cruiser related publications they would like hosted let me know. Will put everything from any generation up to share.

See the first post for some new information regarding the use of SugarSyncs free service. Basically they are no longer offering a free 5 gig plan and will charge for the services. I've decided to keep the service 1) because I enjoy helping the iH8Mud community and 2) because I need some cloud service. With the price that I am paying I would really appreciate it if those that use the links provided would offer something to the community with either a membership or other way. Also, I've added the link to the Body Shop Manual and would love to host more stuff for you guys since the space is available. It does not have to be 80 related. Or even LC related. If it's useful for off-roading (maps, GPX Files, etc) or over-landing or any of the other hobbies we like to do with our Cruisers (or non Cruisers), I'll host it.

I've been seeing a lot of people asking for FSM and EWD lately so I wanted to bring this to the top. I Also wanted to say that if anyone has any files they feel would be helpful they can be uploaded to the account via email. Send your file to danieltodd33.40977442@e2f.sugarsync.com and shoot me a PM on here and I can move it over to the shared section of the account and post a link. DOESN'T HAVE TO BE 80 RELATED. Doesn't have to be purely LC related but should be something beneficial to the community. This includes gpx files. I'm going to start a thread somewhere and share my GPX files that I've recorded maybe we can get a good trail map thread with links to user generated GPX Files. When I make the thread I'll create a link.

Just added the Toyota Wire Repair Manual sent in by DARKNESS. Some really great info in that thing. Thanks DARKNESS

Anyone have a digital version of the 1993/1994 FSM and EWD they want to contribute?

Anyone have a bound paper version they're willing to have scanned? I can handle the scanning job, but the book will lose it's binding. Perhaps have it rebound (3 ring or spiral?)

Thank you! I became a Silver Star for the original post.
