So, I’ve built and sold quite a few vehicles the last few years. All of them being 4x4s. I had the opportunity to pick up a 1994 FZJ80 with 320k miles , salvage title from a small fender bender . But zero rust and incredibly clean and well maintained . The minus being it threw a rod and destroyed the block, (had a Fram oil filter too, coincidence ?..)
I grabbed it from Colorado , immediately began pulling the engine
I found an engine with around 200k and have begun to tear it down to freshen up the top end , machine the head , valve guide seals etc. along with new head bolts and a OEM head gasket . This cruiser will most likely be up for sale once it’s done and driven a little to make sure everything is in working order . Here’s where it’s at right now

Doing the little things right now waiting for the machine shop, injector seals, front and rear main , all new vac lines , replaced everything or anything that can get brittle ,
