Sand tubes in the cargo area to add counterweight and they can also be used for traction if needed. I always used to do that for my pickups and plow rigs.

Although my plow was lexan, the OME springs were plenty.

It might not be that complicated. You should be able to pick up a set of springs cheap enough. I bet 20% of the guys on mud have at least one set of springs kicking around their garage. :)

Anything, even stock springs, would be better than what you have.

So, both sides are on the bump stops I think because of the weight of the plow alone. I don't think stock height springs are going to work, even if they are new or newer. Drive side is a little better condition, you can see the passenger side collapsing.

I will need something with a couple of extra inches just to account for the weight. I emailed Cruiser Outfitters - awaiting a reply.

Plow Down
Distance from ground to front fender 33"
Distance from ground to rear fender 35"

Plow Up
Distance from ground to front fender 32.5"
Distance from ground to rear fender 35.5"

Verdict is OME 2" medium springs and the matching valved 63018 Nitrocharger shocks per Cruiser Outfitters.

Will update once installed.
