Now that I have my dream pig ( FJ55 w/Cummins) I have decided that at this time I do not need two land cruisers. I need to buy something that gets better fuel economy and is easier for my daughter to drive. The money from the sale will go into the FJ55.

Basic run down:

-1994 FZJ80
-282K miles
-New Napa OEM spec replacement Battery
-1FZ was replaced by the prior owner. Not sure on the mileage.
-I don't know if the head gasket was replaced by the PO. Appears to be a stigma for some people.
-Engine always starts and runs great.
-The EGR will need to be replaced or removed. The rubber diaphragm had a hole in it. I was going to remove it. It will some times throw a code for the EGR. Does not effect driving.
-Transmission shifts and works as it should.
-Lockers work. I exercised them often through out the summer.
-PO said he rebuilt the front axle.
-I collected and installed the following Old Man Emu items, OME 851/860 springs and OME N70 and N71E shocks.
-I have a set of front lower control arms with all the bushings pressed out. I have a brand new Old Man Emu Castor Correction kit ready to be pressed in. You will need to buy two bushings for the back of the control arms.
-You will need to make some, or buy, extending blocks for the sway bars due to the OME lift. Drives fine the way it is now but you want this replaced before wheeling the rig allot.
-Brakes work fine with no issues.
-The ABS system functions as it should.

Interior:
-Gray interior, full leather. Fully adjustable front seats.
-Leather front seats show normal wear and tear for the year.
-Middle and rear leather seats are in good condition.
-All seat belts work as normal.
-Carpet has been shampooed a few times.
-Stereo was stolen when the PO owned the truck. Dash around radio is messed up.
-I have a good scion head unit I will include.
-Everything works except for the AC.
-The heater works awesome. As does the rear heater.
-The AC needs another dyer and one AC line installed. Cleaned, purged, and recharged. It's 134a. Then its all good.
-Door cards are all in good shape. The rear passenger speakers were removed from the doors as well as those in front.
-I was going to into a new stereo until I got the FJ55.
-Sunroof works. It has a crack on the glass but it is tempered glass and does not leak. I am sure some will find that as a stigma.
-Center console is ok other then the CD changer pocket by the floor being cut out by someone.

Exterior:
-Drivers side front fender has a dent. The turn indicator is busted.
-I bought a new drivers fender and inner wheel well in Bellingham Wa. It is the same color as the truck. You pay shipping.
-Few small dings and scratches. Body is all straight other then that fender.
-I ran over our plastic garbage can while backing up and broke part of the drivers side rear tail lens. I taped it up.
-Rims are the original and need to be cleaned and polished.
-Tires are Toyo Open Countries. I'd say they have at least 30% of the tread left.
-Head lamps were replaced with aftermarket Eagle Eyes. They do light the road up pretty nicely.
-Antenna was toast. I pulled it off and made repairs and put it back on.

I cant think of anything else at the moment. I am asking 3500USD which is actually less money then I have into it. But I already committed to that price on mud. So I will stick to it. Remember it is a 15 year old truck and it has all the normal wear of a 15 year old truck. The mileage is not uncommon for the year, or uncommon for a Toyota Land Cruiser. They are still very reliable transportation. This isnt a jeep. Some one mentioned the head gasket below. I am not sure if the head gasket was replaced. But how many FZJ80's being sold on the market have had their HD's replaced by the PO? I think it is a nice thing to have already been done, but I feel it is unrealistic to expect it to have been with the asking price.

-Oct 15th 2009 I replaced the battery with one from Napa. It is the factory spec replacement.

Please no hecklers, nit pickers, or people trying to swindle me down. I have a hard enough time with my temporal lobe epilepsy to be dealing with people like that. Everything said and done, 3500 is a steal.

I am in Coulee Dam Washington.

Thanks :D

-PO said he replaced the front and rear shocks with Bilsteins. They looked sorta newish when I took them off.

-I did not replace the steering dampener.

I will post photo's later today.

Do you have any pics?

My digital camera is dying. I only can take crappy photo's. I will post them but they would be pretty.

Unknown on the head gasket.

Truck is white. lol... looks like any other white 80 series. :)

Very interested, could you send me pics or maybe we can figure out a time to come look at it this week.

The photo's I have are very poor quality. I guess it is finally time I buy another digital camera. There are some photo's I can post but they look like crap and you really cant see much.

Anything of the interior, and do you think it would be up to a 6 hr road trip or would it have to be trailered?

This is the truck now after the lift. and the drivers side fender. There is a new fender and inner wheel well in B-ham. Either mud ship or pay the shipping costs. I already paid for the parts.

It doesn't need to be trailered unless you want it to be. It's my daily driver and we take it to Spokane, Omack, Moses Lake, etc.. all the time. Remember the castor kit needs to still be installed.

Interior is all good, its just the stereo being stolen from the dash that sucks. The electric seats with electric lumbar support are very comfortable as well. :)

Talked to my brother who's in need of the rig and he's gonna go ahead and pass for now. If it were for me i'd snatch it up in a heartbeat but his wife will be driving it and he's worried that it just needs a little more work than he's comfortable doing right now.

Good luck with the sale, it's a decent deal for someone who's willing to do the work that needs to be done.

NP bro..... thanks. :)

I should be getting a better digital camera sometime today or tomorrow. Then I will post clear photo's.

I forgot to mention that I will also consider partial trades.

thanks :)

What's up with the front bumper?

Do you happen to have the records from when the engine was replaced? That might tell you if they installed a long block, short block, or used engine. A long block would have a new head gasket, and a short block should have had the head reinstalled with a new gasket.

When you say lockers, do you mean front, rear, and center?

Sounds like a sweet deal for sure.......I like the front bumper pics....that is a special one off custom from the looks of it !!!!!

seriously........good luck on the sale......sounds like a sweet deal.

Mo Rocks... Thanks bro... :D

Toyotadon... I bet it ran him a small fortune to make that bumper. :grinpimp:

I will email the PO and see if he will write back with details.

But from what I remember I do believe he said they bought another engine from a salvage yard and installed it.

It has factory front and rear e-lockers.
