I have recently purchased a 1993 LandCruiser II Prado with a 4 cyl. non-turbo diesel. I have noticed that when loaded, the rear feels a bit loose. It seems like the coil springs have lost their resistence.
The previous owner put a nice new set of BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires...33" tires. They seem a little too big for the vehicle because they will sometimes rub the inside wheel well whe loaded or hitting a bump.
Can anyone provide some advise and options to solve this problem. I was looking into replacing the coil springs with some replacements from ARB / Old Man Emu.
I drive the truck on a winding narrow road...with several potholes and wandering cows and horses. I really do not want to raise the height of the vehicle thus raising the center of gravity and making it tippy on the curves. I do not want to sacrifice drive agility.
Any advise or suggestions is helpful...
