Long story short, I'm suspecting my 80' fuel pump is beginning to fail... Basically the last thing I haven't replaced on this truck. I no longer run the stock heater hoses, and have wrapped my engine harness AND have a switch pro setup mounted extremely close to the fuel rail test port. I can remove the banjo bolt but unfortunately there's not enough room for me to tighten an adapter fitting to get an accurate fuel pressure reading.

I saw another member on Mud had a custom adapter made that mounts directly under the OEM FPR. (Picture is included, it is not my truck) That is exactly what I'm looking for and will allow me to get the same reading as Toyotas rail port.

Anyone have any leads on who would be able to make this for me? This has been driving me crazy and I'd like to sort out this issue..

I don't know where to get this - but also interested in having one if there is a source!

Not having this, a while ago in a pinch I removed the FPR and jerry-rigged a pressure gauge directly into the rail. Allowed me to confirm that my fuel pressure was way too low.

Edit - not sure if it's a good idea to do this if you're not already fairly certain the pressure is too low. I don't know what happens if the pump is actually working correctly, but the FPR isn't there to limit the pressure - maybe a hose may blow off somewhere?

Yeah I could see doing that. I just wouldn't want to run it for long without it regulating my fuel pressure. Seems like you could tell if the pump is weak.
