Nice rig!

Not to sound like a dumb ass, but is it legally titled and insured in the US???

How long have you owned it and I'd love to know how you were able to get it into the US, legaly, but don't feel obligated to tell me by any means. :hillbilly:

It's the same color as mine, except mine is the VX (no cooler box) and my interior also looks like shait!!

Anyway, good luck with the sale!

man JDM!!! i likey!!

The driving thing is easy (especially since it is auto). I have a 1981 BJ44 that is manual and I drive it all of the time and have no intention of swaping the steering to the left. It actually makes parallel packing a breeze.

Oh, a few more stats on the truck: Stock 1HD-T engine with auto transmission, center locking diff switch as well as the FF and RR lockers, Elevation and compass stock.

Mot, email me privately and we can discuss importation. You still have my email address, correct?

Is it actually in Breck?

WoW! This is one SWEET rig. I would buy it in a second, but couldn't imagine driving from the wrong side of the car ;-)

I just sold one of these in Canada. I had it on the road for 18 months. Takes less than 10 minutes to get used to it. The worst part is mixing up the turn signal and the wipers (but only happens for a very short time).

For sale bacuse I have another one coming over...

20,000.00 usd  Guy's in canada have similar trucks and have a hard time getting 13 to 15 for them . But good luck for your sale.

Splittilps,

Remember that basically none of these exist in the US due to importation issues, so Breckenridge has a very unique vehicle to the US. He has a decent chance to get basically what he wants as a result.

Breckenridge, good luck on your sale. You have almost the exact truck I had (except without the lift and such) Have the BEBs been done? What about injectors serviced?

Brad

I am accumulating service records, and while it sounds cliche, the truck was purchased from a old man that drove it very little (obviosly from the mileage). It will be titleed in the US and as bruff said, extremely rare for that fact. Also, check out the pictures. Bruff's was the nicest one I had seen for sale for a long time... until this one. If I had the cash to keep it, I would!

As for questions on importation, I can't give up all of my secrets as I still have more to buy!!!

20,000 us

dont fool yourself. these trucks go for 21 grand cdn no problem if loaded with factory electric lockers, winch, heated seats, low km and excellent condition as yours looks. 20 us, maybe not because I hear its a bitch to register in the us of a.
I have purchased two already both for around 20 grand but only 70-80 km on them. They rock.
4 of my buddies also now own them, all automatic excpet mine, 5 speed manual he he he... I am left handed so its a dream to shift. by the way, we are driving on the right side, all you others are driving on the wrong side!

Thanks for the confirm. I love this rig and as tlc81 said it is the LTD model with everything!

P.S I can get it to canada for those needing one there!

You should post some more pics

Definitely one of the nicest unmolested ones i've seen in a while. Its a rare rig for the states... be careful of the loopholes you jump thru.

I have a LOT more pics. Email me for a send...

Breck, were you able to insure this truck in the US??? If so who did you use, my insurance carrier is having a hard time determining if they can provide a policy on these JDM trucks. I even provided them with a VIN from another one thats for sale. THanks

State Farm Insured my BJ44. They didn't care about the RHD, but they wanted pictures of the seatbelts. Go figure...

What kind of mileage does it get??
