Center diff lock switch does not work, but CDL instantly engages when put in 4LO. But now it wont come unlocked. Anyone encounter anything similar? Tried most of the troubleshooting tips on this forum already

Can you hear the relay click in the driver's kick panel when you come out of 4lo?
Why doesn't the CDL switch work? It should lock/unlock the center in high range.
What troubleshooting have you done?
Page TF-49-51 in the FSM gives you a procedure to diagnose and there is a CDL schematic in the EWD to help you locate parts and understand how the system works.
You can run the CDL motor with a 9V battery on pins 2-3 to test the motor.

When you shift from low to high range, you may need to move the truck forward and back and saw the steering wheel left and right to "unload" the driveline until the CDL will actually release.

Check your tire pressure to make sure they are all the same. A low tire will cause this to bind.

Maybe the CDL switch is unplugged?

It needs to be plugged in (and un-pressed) in order for it to unlock.
