I have a line on a later model axle for the back.

Aside from obvious electrical on the locker...

What else would need done? Assuming the springs mount the same, etc.

Brake lines were all I could think of.

Anyone know if they hook up in the same location as my 91 drum rear?

proportioning valve concerns?

Thanks!

???I am interested in this too. I don't really want the e-locker (with this 80, I'm getting another w/lockers), just would like the FF and discs. I can find the whole rear axle assy for cheap (relatively) but no info as to someone doing the swap.

The rims and tires will need to be changed do to the larger front and rear brakes. You will need at least 16" rims.

I run 16 inch rims now =)

You will need to play with the brakes to get it to work right. you may need to change the master cylinder and you may also need some sort of streetrod type adjustable proportioning valve. I'm sure it could be accomplished, I just don't know what hydraulic mods would be required.

I was having a hardcore pipe dream about changing the front and rear axles over to a 93 or 94 with e lockers. now If I could only find a totalled cruiser with a low mileage 1fze and lockers to pillage. hmmmmmmmmm
