Need to sell my '89 Cressida ASAP.
For the most part,it is stock. Power everything, sunroof, new front and rear brakes, new thermostat, thermostat housing, new plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, and valve cover gasket.

Vehicle runs fantastic and has been extremely reliable. You will have a hard time finding a more comfortable daily driver at this price. It is glass at 80 mph.

I average 23mpg or so.

Vehicle is RWD and powered by a 7M-GE supra motor so it handles nice and is fun to drive. It does have 222k miles but they are mostly highway and the motor runs great.

I'm selling it with the stock stereo or with the current setup.

$1500- stock stereo
$1800- Alpine head unit with direct ipod hookup, two JL 10's powered by a 250/1 JL amp.

Located in Northern VA.

Nice car! These where the "baby Lexus'". I used to have a OLD 1981 Toyota Cressida with the 2.8L I6 and was amazed at how solid that car was! It was smooth as silk and did not have one squeak or rattle! It blew a head gasket, so I gave it to grandpa - he was going to fix, but sold it to a friend, who ended up selling it to a junk yard. :( I was 100% rust free too, with excellent interior.

Oh well - sorry for hi-jacking - just wanted to mention how nice these cars are!

Baby lexus? These things were out WAY before Lexus was even thought of!

Nice car though, I wish you were closer. My friend just bought an 88, and it is a really nice car!

Yes, from all i have read, the cressida's brought about the LS400. The MX83 Cressida(like this one) was built from 1989-1992. Lexus was selling cars prior to 1992.

BTW, this isn't a chat thread.

Bump for a sweet DD. I recently watched an episode of pinks where a guy had a similar car, only it has the full supra traetment with a big turbo. It spanked a mustang badly.

I have seen two of these on Ebay with Supra swaps. The first one had a 2jzgte and the other had the 1jz. They both looked bone stock. Talk about a sleeper!
