Selling on MUD before BAT or other venues. VIN: FJ700012124. 1989 FJ70. Has left hand drive, 5 spd with 2F gas inline 6. AC works (still has R12) perfectly. Has current Texas registration and clean Texas Title. Drive this truck home with confidence. Very collectible.
Chassis has 482k kilometers before restoration. New paint - probably a solid 7+. I had to remove some "under the Columbian trees" blemishes. The frame is solid - no rust issues. Truck has a 3-4" lift kit. The interior has been completely redone. Floor has OEM Toyota vinyl - NO CARPET. I removed the flooring and installed sound deadening throughout the entire truck. Had to replace drivers seat reclining mechanism so now both seats recline and move correctly. The steering box was sloppy when I got the truck so I sourced a new OEM steering box and installed - driving now is tight. Some other items replaced: new OEM door weatherstripping for all doors, new OEM lock kit for all doors, glove box, fuel door and ignition ( 3 original OEM keys and tag included). New front disk calipers and drum brake serviced. Speaker pods installed on the front door cards including space for water bottles and personal crap. New speakers installed on the rear ambulance doors. New BOSS ELITE stereo double din head unit (bluetooth capable with streaming) with a 4-channel amp installed under the front seat. The stereo system has a backup camera installed but currently not working. All new OEM turn signal assemblies, new OEM rear tail light lenses, new OEM fog lights, new head lights and wiring harness, new OEM Alternator, new OEM belts, fluids flushed and fresh installed. New OEM tool kit and bag, Tires are almost new with only 200+ kilometers. New OEM Speedometer installed due to broken trip odometer. Odometer now reads 200+ kilometers. Old speedometer comes with the truck. A set of black fender flares are available for additional cost. May include the fenders if the price is right!
The only thing left to do is to install a new OEM antenna. I will try and get it done unless it sells within the next two weeks.
No issues known about the truck. Everything works except radio antenna. All servicing performed by Land Cruiser Specialists of Austin. No trades unless you have a classic corvette or similar.
