Selling my 1989 FJ62 Land Cruiser. It’s been a great rig but it’s time to move on.
-5.3L/4L60e swapped from a 2002 Yukon
-196,848 miles, 6800 since engine swap (will go up as I drive it regularly)
-All-manual transfer case from an FJ60
-Custom radiator and shroud from Mosley Motors
-Custom AC hoses mated to GM compressor
-All new Speedhut gauges with GPS speedometer
-Custom exhaust with Magnaflow muffler
-New battery this year
-OME 2” suspension system (by previous owner - not sure of what load rating)
-Original paint with NO RUST and typical scratches/dings as you would expect
-Interior is in good shape, normal carpet stains and driver’s seat tear
-Spent most of its life in South Texas until I bought it 5 years ago
Known issues:
-Rear window wiper motor is stripped out
-Has stock tune from Fuel Injection Specialties. Runs great but a good tune would really wake it up.
-Fuel gauge is a little wonky – I’ve calibrated it several times but it doesn’t always indicate correctly. Most likely needs a noise filter in the wire from the sensor.
