This is a good rig and I’m sad to sell it, but need to free up some space. I’m the second owner and bought it in 1994. The engine is in good shape at 215,000 miles and has been maintained with synthetic oil at regular intervals. 4x4 works great and the truck handles great in the snow or on the trail. The paint had faded a bit in the past few years in the Colorado sun. There is a small amount of rust at the back tailgate, but I did my best to stop rust where I could. Life and kids have overcome my ability to give this truck the attention it needs to stay in top shape, but it has a lot of good years left in it. I found a great deal on a F-350 that can fit my family and haul a trailer, so will let the FJ62 go. It’s not right to let it sit when someone could be driving it. Let me know of you want more details or specific pictures.
I also have a 1977 FJ40 for sale on iH8mud and craigslist (Denver).
I also have the original rims for both trucks if anyone is interested.
