I'm selling my 1987 FJ62. This has been a project over the past 5 years and it's time to let someone enjoy it.

It currently has 247k miles on it with a valve job just under 10k miles ago.

A few things that I have done to it.

3.5 Old Man Emu lift
5 new 33x10.5 BFG KO2's
New paint 2 years old
New brakes on all 4
Rebuilt front end bearings and seals
Tie rod ends and a 3 degree shim
Tuffy center console with radio
CB in dash
Rear bumper with spare tire and cans
New Windshield and rubber
No more chrome

Well it is NOT a 1987.......The FJ62 was not made in 1987.

Some certainly were. I own one built in September '87. It's a poverty pack (no power windows, locks or mirrors), but I believe they were marketed as '88s.

I see this one has power windows, so must be somewhat later build.

The Land Cruiser is still for sale - I'm not sure if it a California original ( how could I Find that information?) I'm staying at $14,500.

Yes Seth is right, it would should the state where the first owner registered it. Maybe even the dealer that sold it new?
 
How about shipping to Oklahoma, could you help with arrangements? Looking hard for a nice 60 and live in the middle of nowhere. I'm having trouble finding nice trucks and might have to be more trusting and take a chance on having one shipped
