Hello all,

Selling my 3B converted 87 FJ60 to buy another Diesel cruiser. This truck was built by my brother "lynchmob" here on the forum.

Here's some info:

87 Body with 232,xxx miles. West coast truck. No rust besides some minor surface rust in 2 or 3 places that I may blast off and prime really soon. Body has a few small dents and dings from trail use. NO FRAME RUST. Interior in good shape just needs a little cleaning. This truck was driven 2400 miles, 46 hours straight thru from Portland, OR. to Indiana after conversion and has been my daily driver since

3B Diesel (Engine rebuilt, compression in the 420's across the board, rebuilt injectors, New T-stat, New governor diaphram, new waterpump)
Radiator just cleaned and leaks fixed
H55
4:11 diffs with FJ62 front axle
OME Lift with greaseable anti-inversion shackles and spring pins. Pro Comp shocks.
Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels with 33x12.50 Pro Comp Extreme Mud Terrains with 6000 miles
TJM Bullbar
Warn Winch
AutoMeter Ultra-Lite water temp, Oil Pressure, and Pyrometer gauges mounted under dash
New 2 1/2" exhaust with Edelbrock muffler

Truck runs great, looks good and is fun to drive. I'm wanting to buy another Diesel cruiser and don't have room for 2 cruisers.

Still for Sale

Turbo install has started. The truck will have a rebuilt Supra Turbo. I'm taking pictures and hope to have it done by the end of next week, kind of hard to work with crutches.....but at least I'm not stuck at work!

Still here, Turbo install in progress

Hope to have the Turbo finished soon. Still for sale.

bump.

Still for sale.

Offers......

Update

I've had many offers for partial trades + cash for the 60. A few guys have come out to look at the truck. I would rather sell the truck for cash than trade since I have another Landcruiser.

I will consider offers and even trades if it was for something I want. So you are wondering what I want....

Later model, rust free 3/4 ton truck, Diesel preferred. A two wheel drive Dually would be nice.

Hotrods and musclecars.

PM or email me if you want to talk

Driving the truck daily at the moment. The turbo really woke this truck up, the truck has awesome power compared to non turbo. Wish I had done the upgrade long ago. Was hoping a fellow MUD member would take the plunge and pick it up.....going to Ebay soon.

i love that combo. too bad i gotta rebuild my D110 motor prior to sale. im gonna have extra toy money when i get rid of that.

Come on guys you'll love the turbo sound!

Price reduction. Ebay coming Fast

Here's the deal guys. Thought I had a deal worked, no dice.

I'll sell the truck without the front bumper and winch for $9500 Firm. No dealing, no trades.

I'll sell it for $10,500 as it sits with the Bumper and winch.

Email or PM me if you are interested.

That seems like a VERY fair price. Hang tight and I'm sure you'll get it. Just got to be patient with this economy.

I sold my 60 last month and miss it already. Wife's got other plans for a replacement rig tho.:frown:

Good luck.

Bump for the new price

Bump it

From your brother's build thread:

"Our mileage over the whole trip was just under 19 US gallons/mile. Ill post details later."

From this thread:

"The fuel economy was around 25mpg on the trip from Oregon to Indiana"

Just wondering...

Also, how does the turbo install change the mileage?

I am doing much research in an attempt to buy a diesel cruiser. Mileage is key for me with these beasts in terms of long term use, so it helps justification of buying and spending $$$!

At some price and mileage point it'll be cheaper to keep my 2f powered 60 series. But diesel is so cool!

My brother brought the that up also, I must have totally forgot to update the thread. Anyway, mileage these days is around 20-21 MPG with the turbo. You could probably get the MPG better with a little more tuning, also I drive mostly around town and rarely get it on the highway, I would say 70% city-30% highway...... The turbo is by far the best upgrade I've done to the truck. Once you buy a Diesel cruiser you won't look back!

Buffed the truck today and it looks great.

$10,500 as the trucks sits
$9,500 for the truck without the front winch bumper and winch.

I've been asked about trades again and I'm not too interested in trades, would rather just sell it outright as I already have too many cars.

Truck is on Greasecar also.
