Hello all,

Selling my 3B converted 87 FJ60 to buy another Diesel cruiser. This truck was built by my brother "lynchmob" here on the forum.

Here's some info:

87 Body with 232,xxx miles. West coast truck. No rust besides some minor surface rust in 2 or 3 places that I may blast off and prime really soon. Body has a few small dents and dings from trail use. NO FRAME RUST. Interior in good shape just needs a little cleaning. This truck was driven 2400 miles, 46 hours straight thru from Portland, OR. to Indiana after conversion and has been my daily driver since

3B Diesel (Engine rebuilt, compression in the 420's across the board, rebuilt injectors, New T-stat, New governor diaphram, new waterpump)
Radiator just cleaned and leaks fixed
H55
4:11 diffs with FJ62 front axle
OME Lift with greaseable anti-inversion shackles and spring pins. Pro Comp shocks.
Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels with 33x12.50 Pro Comp Extreme Mud Terrains with 6000 miles
TJM Bullbar
Warn Winch
AutoMeter Ultra-Lite water temp, Oil Pressure, and Pyrometer gauges mounted under dash
New 2 1/2" exhaust with Edelbrock muffler

Truck runs great, looks good and is fun to drive. I'm wanting to buy another Diesel cruiser and don't have room for 2 cruisers.

$12,500/best

Truck located in northern Indiana about an hour from Chicago.

bump for a nice 60.

I can answer questions about the conversion etc. Its running with the FJ wire harness. It has a working BJ60 tach and the edic system has been wired in so it turns off with the ignition as it should. The glow system is manual and uses a stock BJ60 glow relay connected to a push button in the dash.

few more notes. This 60 still has about 95% of the black paint on the frame - parts of it were even shiny. Oil pressure was 20+ at idle and 60-70 at road speed (hot).

NO A/C, but I'm sure someone could fabricate a mount for the compressor, or find the factory Toyota piece which I'm told is rare. The fuel economy was around 25mpg on the trip from Oregon to Indiana, I'm getting 18-20 driving mostly city these days. I rarely have it on the highway. The injectors have been rebuilt since being in Indiana and my mileage has increased some.

Thanks for the bump Clint. Conversion looks factory installed.

partial trade for a clean 55 series

Lots of interest in the truck. I've thought about it and would take a 55 in partial trade for the truck.

bump for a nice conversion and an awesome cruiser

Here is a link to the conversion.

Regarding the engine. We did not rebuild it for this conversion. The external gaskets all appeared to be replaced at some point and when the oil pan was off I noticed that the rods all have marks that would indicate it was rebuilt.

Ill call my brother and make sure he knows there have been some posts here recently. He works a lot of hours.
