Hi everyone just bough a Bundera and already want to do a couple of things. first things first I have the 2.4 L carby petrol and want to swap it for the 3L diesel out of a Hilux. just wondering if the bell housing needs to be changed or is the bellhousing on this compatible to the 3L. I have seen some that have converted their already diesel bundy's to the 3L and there being no mentioning of needing to change to a different bell housing. just wondering if that would be the case for the RJ petrol version as well. I am aware they share the same gearbox and transfer case but you never know. Also what cars share the same heater core for the Bundera. Mine needs to be replace and its winter and cant find any aftermarket ones specific to bundera's to save my life. Thanks for the time guys, any insight or a checklist would be much appreciated.

Bell housings are different. Go to Megazip, find the RJ70 and the LJ70 of the same year as yours. You can compare all the part differences (in drawings with part numbers) between the two.
