It's kinda addictive and makes it fun to go to the mailbox but my wife has said enough is enough. :D

What the heck ..... Why not Australia. :)
....Thanks Clint ......
No probs, my US collection might over take yours soon the way things are going. :D
At leaste when collecting Aussie plates there is only 8 states/territories

It just proves the U.S. Postal Service excels at inefficiency. Hopefully the tags won't start to rust while they are enroute. :)

South Georgia can be an interesting place to live in the early Fall. I am standing next to my HJ75 this morning hanging up a couple of recently delivered license plates and when I reach down to pick up my hammer I realize I am standing approximately 5"-6" from a snake that is coiled up next to my front tire. Fortunately it ended up being a 4' rat snake and the only casualty was my underwear. :D

ARB AIR LOCKERS......While driving my BJ74 yesterday, I turned on the onboard air compressor but noticed the air pressure gauge never moved off zero. After troubleshooting ( the compressor was running fine, the two lines to the lockers were fine, and the line to the gauge was fine ) however I discovered another air line to an aux air tank that had cracked.
I didn't even realize this thing had an aux air tank.
Is anyone else who has ARB lockers using an aux air tank or did the previous owner get overly creative?
Thanks.....

Thinking about doing this with my spare Toyota tailgate.
A redneck's dream chair. :D

Plates collection is looking good mate. Especially the blue n white plate. ;)

Are the rat snakes non poisonous

Non venomous but like most snakes they scare the cr*p out of you if you step on one of them. :)

Finally got around to replacing the old tired tailgate with a new one. The old one had some internal rust issues that were beginning to show up on the surface.

Even though the new tailgate was nice and shiny it was a slightly different shade of white than my truck so after a tape job it is to be repainted.

The canvas canopy and headache bar have been removed so the inside of the bed can be painted black. ( I must have been under the influence of alcohol when I decided to paint it white in the first place. )
All of the areas that can't be readily inspected and cleaned will be painted with POR15.

The original hinge pins were just "slightly" worn. :D

Why you don't Rhino Line a truck bed in white.
After several pressure washings and scrubbing with lacquer thinner the "goo" has finally been removed.

Your against the bed liner?

Quite the contrary.....
Love the textured lining, just not in white. Planning on putting 3 coats of black in the bed and inside of the new tailgate.

This project has exposed an unexpected issue with the canvas canopy. As it turns out, air flow across the top of the canopy has caused the canvas fabric to vibrate which in turn has frayed the material where it rest on top of the framework. I either have to remove, repair and redesign the canopy or simply take it off.

It's not everyday you have the opportunity to get a 70 Series and a Boeing B-17 in the same photo. :D
*Sorry for allowing the Ford pickup to get into the frame. :)
