Completely Original and well maintained 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser GX HJ60 (2H) Diesel. This was imported from Nicaragua so there is virtually no rust. This LC was purchased from its original owner. The frame is solid and still has original paint. The body has original paint and decals, but the clear coat has come off the hood and roof, which make it appear dull.

This Land Cruiser has many other rare options including a high roof, third row seating with split windows, steps to reach roof rack (if there was one), 5 speed transmission and push button 4 Wheel drive with High/Low range transfer case.

Key Features:

- Left Hand Drive
- GX package
- 2H 6 cylinder diesel
- H55F 5 Speed manual transmission
- high/low push button 4WD
- Toyota split rims with narrow tires
(For the life of me I can not remember the rim/tire size)
- Heat and AC
- Only 150,000 miles (242,000 KM)

The following is a list of recent maintenance:

- new front brakes and booster
- rebuilt clutch
- flushed cooling system
- Rebuilt transfer case with new seals
- new birfs/gaskets/complete front axle rebuild
- Valve adjustments/new gaskets
- new battery
- all fluids flushed (engine, transmission, transfer case and differentials)

This is a very solid Land Cruiser ready to be your daily driver or a perfect restoration candidate.

Please note, there are some imperfections including small dents, light scratches, and some slight cracks in the windshield (cob-web cracks from rocks that have not spread).

Currently registered and insured in Portland, Maine. Legally imported. This vehicle will come with all DOT/EPA paperwork as well as CBP clearance documents.

Better new photos of the current frame condition, the older pics wont help me. Looking for a totally rust free truck, prefer a diesel. I can wait til you get home.

I checked my archive and I do not have those particular angles. I will get these shots for you once I get back home.

Talk soon.

Just a quick update:

I was going to make a quick little video of the Land Cruiser running and also walk around it. In preparation for this, I took it to a car wash (touch free) with extremely high pressure jets. This resulted in part of the passenger side decal coming off. You'll see this in the video once it's posted. As you can imagine, I am pretty pissed.

So, I am knocking the price down to $14,650 to cover the costs to purchase new decals. In reality, the truck needs paint and these decals would need to be replaced anyway, but I don't want to mislead anyone about its condition.

New decals can be found here:

Again, new price:

$14,650 OBO

This is still up for grabs. Here's a little update:

- radiator needs replacement. I've found an aluminum direct replacement from Cruiserparts, but I have not had a moment in the past two weeks to get to this project. The vehcile still runs and drives. The radiator is a hair-line crack that leaks when the LC is warm. It's on the bottom side.

New price reflecting above deficiency: $13,900.00 OBO

Not a bad deal in my opinion :)

Don't see it either. I was going to call you today...just sold my 87 4Runner and was thinking I would come see the GX...what's the rest of your week look like?

Nice. What generation 4Runner?

Rest of my week is pretty open. Friday would work best and I'm around all weekend as well.

Give me a call/text any time.

Talk soon.

Is the rad replaced or still needed? Since you have the DOT stuff it should be easy enough to get it to Canada.

This is tentatively sold. I am awaiting a bank wire and will confirm it's status once it's received.

Thanks for all your interest. I'll be listing my white BJ60 as soon as it's ready (3B, 4 speed with front split bench and barn doors)
