Hi, folks. I'm selling my beloved old 1985 FJ60 - $6500

247K original miles.
Original blue paint.
Engine and drive train all original, never opened up or modified.
Clutch replaced at 160K.
Old Man Emu suspension installed by Warden's Automotive <5K miles ago (in ~2000...)
Tires and wheels installed at same time. 30's? I've forgotten the specifics...
Starts every time (it's a Land Cruiser)
New catalytic converter within the last 5K miles. Passes Calif. smog easily.
New 45 gallon fuel tank ~3 years ago, installed by Ron's Custom Cruisers in Gilroy, Calif.
New battery.
There's rust up on the roof line on both sides of the truck - you'll want to look at it.

Given work obligations, I don't have the time to manage the sales process, so I've enlisted the services of Wheels & Deals consignments in Santa Clara, California. The rig is there for inspection, test drives, etc., and then if you like it and want to buy it, they call me to come over and exchange the cashier's check and title. This link should get you to their listing on cars.com:

Alternatively, you can search for a 1985 Land Cruiser on their site: Wheels & Deals

Thanks, all.

Is it for sale only at the dealer? Or through you also? Will have time Friday to view.

Hi. Given work and other obligations I often don't have time to respond as quickly as I'd like, thus the W&D role. You can check it out, take it for a drive, etc., and even arrange for an inspection, and you won't be dependent on my schedule. I'm out of commission most of today and tomorrow, and then almost completely so through Sunday, returning late Monday.

I took a bunch of pics if you're interested. My regular email is jcday@jcday.com, and if you'd like to send me yours, I can add your email to the access list for the pics. Thanks,

John

Hi, folks. Just closing the loop that I sold this truck today for $4K. Given the rust on the roof, I think that was a pretty reasonable price. Thanks to those of you who responded - Cruiser people are always a great group.

Best regards,

John
