1985 fj60 !!rust free!! TRADE OR SALE

I am really looking to trade. 147k miles, decent interior, perfect body, 2-3 minor dings, decent freedom red paint, good tires...all it needs (i am willing to do) is brake pads, a/c fixed, clutch, and tune up. Solid rig, I paid $4000 over a year ago. I do not expect to get that as i realized at the time i over paid, but it was the best one i could find under 4k. I am looking for a project car for my wife. 64 galaxie, 67 fairlane or whatever you may have, i would even take an 87 regal i can clone as a grand national. Or an fj40 or fj55...pm me with all offers even cash offers. Your trade does not have to equal the value of mine so dont be afrai to make an off, i do not get insulted..............will also trade for vw WESTFALIA or pre 66 vw bug

i took the carpet out because it was all bunched up and made it difficult to drive. I was gonna replace the carpet right away ($300 for a carpet kit) but with all the sound deadening material, i figured id wait till i had most the interior done first. The previous owner jack knifed a trailer and dented the rear bumper, it was at 2mph and affects nothing but the bumper. Could not find a replacement for less than $60 and i am to cheap. Well there is more important things to fix at least.

my wife would cut my head off....she already wants to kill me for all this "lets trade the cruiser talk"....she love it as much as i do, so sorry no tercel will do...although i may be willing to buy it. have any pics?

Just posted it up as "For Sale" in my own thread. I'll post this pic though just to put the paper clip on your thread which should help generate more traffic for you and maybe some spill over for me. Here it is:

So $600 in gas to drive it back to NY... plus 3 motel nights = $750, plus food for 3 days = $850, plus airfare NY-tucson = $1250

Oh yeah.. and I gotta pay for the truck plus getting it in roadworthy shape... Call it $3000

Total to me is $4250... and 3 days lost billing time (I consult and get paid hourly). Not to mention the HELL to pay at home for the whole matter...

Nope... But if it were local and I could drive it home for $3000 or so I'd be going for it...

Well let's call this a BUMP for a good looking truck anyway

pay for motel rooms, BAH. you know as i do you can fit a mattress in the back of that thing, and eating is over rated, and if it were me i would just walk here from NY....haha

I'm too old and lazy to walk that far, I need a motel... otherwise how will I get room service and pay-per-view and if I don't keep my calorie count up I might actually start to loose weight... and we can't have that!

Hey wait... maybe I can sell this to the wife as a weight-loss retreat sort of thing: "Loose 30 pounds in 3 days - guaranteed!"

not that it is any of my business but you must love expensive food and hotels. :D

$850 for three days worth of food, you certainly will keep the calorie intake up with that.

edit: i spell like a second grader
