This truck is an 1984 FJ60, I have a clean Wyoming title on it. It is located in Jackson, Wyoming.
-2002 GM Performance Ramjet 350 v8, 350hp & 400ftlbs
-AA Ranger OD box, 27% overdrive for any gear
-stock 4spd tranny
-4" MAF/OME lift
-ARB lockers front & rear
-vinyl floor and seat coverings
-MAF/Ron Davis aluminum radiator
-LRA 38gal fuel tank
-16x8 M/T Classics in black
-35"x12.5" Maxxis Creepies
-ARB front bar with generic winch, 9k lbs, Hella driving lights on the bar
-Kaymar rear bumper
-Marlin Crawler high steer kit
-FJ62 4.11 gears in the diffs
*Brand new suspension all around, all of it is new from busings to u-bolts to pins to springs. It has OME HD in the rear and medium in front. Customized Ford shock towers and some Bilstein 5150s shocks. Front shocks are 12" and rear are 10". MAF shackle reversal kit, this is bolted on so it can be easily transfered to the FJ62 frame. Cut & turn on front axle, yes it is spring under axle with a C&T. It was C&T'ed to fix the nasty front prop shaft angle and set castor where we wanted. The Cruiser rides awesome on road and off, I kept it SUA and somewhat low because this is my DD and not a dedicated off-roader. I also don't like having to climb way up into my DD truck. The Cruiser however flexes really nice for a SUA truck. I have a new spare OME rear leaf pack and also a set of front OME add a leaves. I also have a new set of rear 6" shackle plates, right now the truck has 5 1/2" rear shackles. The bump stops are dropped approx 2" in the front. This prevents the front axle from coming up and contacting the exhaust Y-pipe which was a problem when I got the truck and the Y-pipe was smashed.
*Front axle has a fresh rebuild on it, the whole outer axle is rebuilt. Marlin seals, Longfield knuckle wipers and Longfield inner hub gear. Bearings are all new too and the pre-load on them set correctly. Hubs work great. The whole front end is pretty much perfect and is new besides the 3rd member.
*Brand new M/T Classic wheels in black. 16x8 with a 3.65 backspacing. No rub at all anywhere, they clear tres and calipers fine, the rims are perfect. Tires are 35"x12.5R16 Maxxis Creepies, tires have 16/32 of tread and the spare is 20/32, new they are 20/32. I siped the two center rows of lugs on the tires for better traction on ice. It worked great as the truck does very well on ice in 2wd. 4WD it is unstoppable in the snow. I have a 5th Creepy as a spare mounted on a black 16" spoker rim.
*Very recent rebuilds and balance on both front and rear drive shafts. Both drive shafts are aftermarket CV joint style. The front was lengthened when the C&T was done.
*Recently installed CCOT center console, looks just like a Tuffy. IMHO it imporoved the truck a ton.
*Front sway bar recently rebuilt. This includes a custom mount welded to the axle, new bolts & sleeve on the link and new OME bushings. With the lift the sway bar links are extended to 12".
*Seats were restuffed not to long ago by a P/O. The seat covers are vinyl, Specter Off-Road style and nearly perfect. The floor is an Aussie vinyl and nearly perfect however it does look over 5yrs old. The vinyl floor is from tailgate cover to up under dash, ie it is a full kit.
*New leather steering wheel wrap on an FJ62 steering wheel.
*Steering is all new except for the box and p/s stuff. Marlin high steer kit. Running an Icon stabilzer that is charged to 60psi. Used a Synergy tubing clamp to mount the stabilizer, it is super buff. Steering is really good on the truck. No bump steer, no wobble, no vibrations and it does not pull to one side. I had it aligned about 2 months ago.
*Pioneer stereo with iPod jack and remote. I recently installed this and it sounds killer. The deck is a 2008 model.
*good condition SS exhaust with a free flow muffler. It is not to loud and has a nice note. The Y-pipe was replaced in September and is new.
*FJ62 4.11 gears in the 3rds.
*FJ62 rear seat with headrests.
*New clutch, pressure plate, T/O bearing, disc, spigot, ect.
*winch is nearly new, used less then 5x.
*windshield is new, no cracks or visable chips.
*The truck has a super nice $400 fuel pump with duel filters. It has zero fuel delivery problems. I have checked fuel pressure on the truck and it is at 41-43psi under all conditions.
*brakes are all good all around. No idea how new they are but plenty of meat in all the pads, rotors and drums look fine and it all works great. The truck does not pull to one side when braking. The Cruiser has a trailer brake controller which I do believe works fine, I have never used it though. It has stainless extended brake lines.
*ARB lines are stainless from the axle to the frame.
*Full accessories upgrade on the engine. This is nearly a $1000 upgrade on the engine.
*Brand new Ramjet manual. I also have a new diagnostic tool which is OBD1. In addition I have a fuel pressure tester to check and monitor fuel pressure on the engine.
*New Advanced Adapters motor mounts.
*New full LED interior upgrade, dash is in green bulbs, new LED dome light.
*New Hella H4 headlights and Hella relay for the driving lights.
*New Valley Hybrids shifter knob, new shifter assembly and new shifter seat seal.
*New fabricated fan shroud.
I use this truck as my DD and to do some light to medium off-roading. I totally love this truck! It is super fun to drive and performs very well on and off road. It gets looks & attention where ever I take it.
The Cruiser has no oil leaks to speak of. I fixed a few on the gear boxes this last summer. It doesn't leave any drip marks on the floor, there is a little weeping here and there but nothing to really speak of. I just changed the fluid in both diffs last week. The tranny & t-case fluid was changed in August. I am running Royal Purple in the engine and it probably needs to be changed in about 1000-1500 miles. I have noticed the engine burns about 1/2 quart of oil every 3,000 miles. The engine is on MEFI3 and has no cats or o2 sensors.
When I got this truck I jumped in it and drove it home 600 miles. At that time it had tons of problems compared to what it has now. How the truck sits today, I would not hesitate to jump in it and drive across the country. With the AA Ranger OD box you can cruiser down the highway at 75mph and be at roughly 2500rpms. With the Ramjet v8 it has tons of power. Tranny & t-case shift well and nothing pops out of gear. I have had this truck up to 65mph in 4wd and it has zero vibrations, it is super smooth.
We have no smog laws in Wyoming. It is up to you to find out if this truck is street legal in your state.

SOLD! No low ballers, tire kickers and no trades. I have spent over $6,000 on this truck in the last 8 months, I have a file and receipts to back this up. The Cruiser runs, drives and performs very well and it is ready to use as a DD, off-roader or prep it for a Pan American drive. Oh yeah the truck has a touch under 260,000 miles on it but who cares because everything has been rebuilt at one time or another. I have no idea how many miles are on the engine.
The truck has very minor rust showing up in the common areas, see pictures in link. There is one dent on the truck about the size of you palm in the RHS rear quarter panel. This Cruiser has not been restored per say and it is 28yrs old.
