Ok I have been working on this thing off and on for about 6 months and I just don't have time for it anymore. I am getting my masters and working full time so I'm a pretty busy guy.

It is a 1984 FJ60 and shows 284k miles on the odometer. It is very mechanically sound and could make a daily driver. The PO had the engine professionally rebuilt to include machining the block. This is the stuff that is new or rebuilt on the truck (mechanically).

- Engine rebuilt
- New Clutch
- New Radiator with hoses
- Rebuilt carb
- All new AC system that blows very cold
- De-smogged

Ok now on to cosmetic. The paint is ok but the roof is fading. There are also a few spots on the body that are fading as well. However there is no rust on the body and it has never been bondoed. I took a magnet to the entire truck to ensure. I have also climbed all underneath it and found no rust on the underside as well. Currently the back and front bumpers are off and I have two sheets of 1/4" steel that will come with the truck in order to make bumpers. I will also include the bumpers that were on the truck. All tires are brand new all-terrain (31x10.5) Toyo's. Chrome factory wheels look good and the spare is there on a chrome factory wheel as well.

The interior is ok. The passenger seat is perfect and the top part of the back seat is good as well. Driver's seat has the normal tear in the bottom part like all these trucks do. Rear heater is also there. I have a newer dash with three very small cracks in it to put in the Cruiser as the one in it is cracked. The headliner is good with only one 1" tear. All panels are there and good to go and I have two replacement rear door panels. I have however ripped out the carpet as it was worn out. So right now it's a bare floor. All glass is perfect and original. All dash lights work and the only gauge that is currently not working is the oil pressure. It is disconnected at the oil filter. Rear struts for the back door need replacing. This of course is a cheap replacement. I had much of the metal parts inside the truck powdercoated when the roof rack got done. Mostly the rear carpet hold down thing, and the metal parts that hold the carpet to the back of the rear seat. Plus some seat belt parts.

Bonuses!!

- Con-Ferr roof rack that has been blasted and powder coated within the last 3 months. All bolts and nuts replaced with stainless steel hardware.
- Warn M8000 winch with wires.

If I can think of anything else I will come back and post. Please email me at gregthehand@hotmail.com since the PM box fills up so fast on here. I am currently asking $4750 obo for this truck. I think that is a good price and you'll be happy with this FJ60. I wish I had more time to work on it but I just don't. I will say that I'm not desperately trying to sell this truck. If I can't get what it's worth I'll just keep it in the garage until I finish grad school. So please don't try to low ball me as I'm not trying to sale this thing to scare up money or anything like that.

I read your build thread... Do you have some pics of the interior so we can see how far you got and how it turned out?
