SOLD-----------It’s time for me to sale this truck only because I picked up another fj60. 1984 FJ60 179k miles on the clock, $13,000. It is a solid truck. I have a ton of pics and videos I can send. Has clear MS original title in hand, three ring binder from previous owner of pages of receipts, has original Toyota manual with original dealership and owners name.I’ve put in a lot of replacement parts as well including getting the A/C blowing ice cold. Old school desmog where everything is in place, but pump and air rail has been welded shut. I do have a complete smog setup from another truck if someone needs these parts. I Can give full run down if someone’s interested.

Super solid truck. Zero rust in or in frame. Only rust spot would be around the rain drains under neath. Nothing major, I hit them with some converter planned on getting it patched up, but wasn’t bad enough for me to worry with. I have a video with truck in lift I’d be happy to send anyone.
 
How long have you owned it?
I have had it since January. Looked for one for awhile, found this one, but ended up buying another 60 and can’t keep both!

Convince me that it could be a daily driver in Dallas and I'm in for it!
Anything can be a daily driver if you put in a little work and spend a little money! That being said I drive this thing to work often, but not daily drive by any means.
 
So what is the work needed for this one to be a daily?

None, you can jump in it and take off, but it is a 34 year old and I assume the Dallas traffic is pretty demanding on a 34 year old vehicle so maintenance etc. I have driven all around Jackson area, but never really taken it on more then an hour and half ride from the house. Normally grab another cruiser for that.
 
I’ve been getting a lot of questions on details for the 60. So this should answer a lot of them. The only negative mark on the truck is in the early 2000s it was in a fender bender insurance company totaled it because they weren’t worth anything then. I can’t figure out where because there isn’t bondo that I can find and I have used a magnet on the whole truck. I have a clear original title (not bonded or salvage) title in hand. Since I’ve owned it I replaced pinion seal, passenger axle seal, rebuilt rear drums, crank bells, new ebrake cable, ac compressor and drier, tie rod ends, water pump, fan clutch, coolant hoses, thermostat, has 33x10.5 bfg ko2s with about 1000 miles on them. Oil pressure gauge isn’t working I think the gauge is bad. Haven’t messed with it yet. It has the standard wet under carriage of an old cruiser but nothing major. Probably just needs the bolts snugged up like most of them. I haven’t added oil since I replaced it in January if that tells you anything. Needs a carpet kid and the back quarter panel piece sticked up and interior would be awesome. It is lifted and it was put on it before I got it. Looks kind of old school, but Not sure what kind. It’s solid truck, One of the cleaner ones I’ve seen around. Zero rust in frame, has original spare tire, cold ac. It 2f with old school desmog. Air rails capped smog pump gone, but everything else in tack. A couple little rust spots where rain channel drains are I have video of truck in lift and Filming the underside I can send. I sprayed them with converter and was going to just seal them up. What it needs is a knuckle rebuild in its future and It has an exhaust leak that I have oem gasket for, but haven't messed it. Truck runs great and I drive it all the time. This a clean 60 not a rusted out project and doesn’t really need “anything” done to it to enjoy it. Everything functions as it should. I will have a newer ARB front bumper coming off my other 60 someone could add to the purchase for additional money if they wanted. I have a ton of pics and videos I can send.
 
In regards to desmog I have a complete desmog setup I just pulled out of an 85 60 that can be added to list to make it smogged again if needed.
