Well, it looks like it may be time to sell one of the cruisers. My wife and I love both our cruisers and feel they will be irreplaceable if we sold them, but selling it may be the way to go right now. This is a daily driver and has mostly been our main vehicle since we bought it 3 years ago. It's never let me down in that time and I have kept up on all maintenance, I change oil every 3k miles and I also do all my own maintenance (been wrenching since before I could drive). The only thing I didn't install was the lift, it was done by classic cruisers in Salida, and the rear quarter panels, I'm not proficient in body stuff and that was done by a shop shortly before I purchased. This rig isn't perfect, but i feel it's a good platform, whether someone is looking for a rig to restore, wheel, or just use as is, especially considering the package deal I'll explain below. The drivetrain is solid, the body is pretty good and frame is good, I will list as best I can what I've done and what I know needs addressed. I have reciepts for all parts and a cd containing photos of the entire rear quarter panel job. I'll include photos later.

Now on to the details: all of these have been done within the last 3 years, quarter panels were about 4 years ago I think

1984
174,860 miles as of now, goes up as it is a daily driver
Desmogged, smog stuff can be included.
Weber 38 carb
Saginaw power steering conversion
Custom rear quarter panels, usual rust was professionally repaired to original look, then the panels were fabricated. They are removable if you want the stock (rust free) look back.
TPI suspension lift with OME shocks and steering stabilizer
A/C works, also have a can of R-12 to refill/top it off.
Front end rebuilt with marlin crawler kit
New clutch, flywheel grind and rear main and rear output seal at 157700 miles
water pump
spark plugs
New belts
New pcv valve
New front heater core
Bullbar
Heavy Duty Tow hitch
Air horn
All fluids replaced in driveline (axles, tranny, tcase)
5 Brand new (maybe a few thousand miles) 33x10.50 General Grabbers on stock chrome, spare mounted on bullbar
4 studded winter snow tires on stock chrome, Good life left, original fj60 tire size I believe, look kinda funny with the lift but cant beat studded tires in the winter where we live and we just got use to it. Didn't mind saving the bigger tires for summer fun anyway.

Cosmetically:
Slight rust on rear gates, I have spares of both that are perfect, just need paint to match
Dent in pass. Side front fender, could probably be pulled but I have a perfect one that needs matching paint
Small dent in hood, hardly noticeable and probably could be pulled, some small surface rust pits from gravel on front of hood, repairable but I have a hood that is perfect, needs matching paint
Lower valence has surface rust pits from gravel and slightly dented, have perfect spare needs paint
Interior is original except cargo side panel cards, they are carpet covered plywood, looks good and also have original panels, drivers seat torn as usual, carpet in pretty good shape, rear seats in decent shape, some stains, seat covers on all seats. We usually leave the rear seat folded down and I found a thick rubber truck bed liner that fits over the entire covered back, not perfect but it protects the floor and is nice to keep stuff from shifting. No cracks in dash, door cards look good, overall a nice stock interior besides the driver seat and stains on seat. I do have spare seats to mix and match. I do also have a drivers seat from a newer model land cruiser I could include.

There is no cancer on this rig and most issues with it have a solution included in the sale. I have a good source for paint and have a little left that matches from them.

Also with this sale I have what's left of my parts 60 with no rust on frame or what's left of body, to offer up as a package deal. Has title, is also a 1984. There are lots of good parts there including rims, windows, windshield, bumpers, tranny, tcase, axles, engine (needs rebuilt) and many other miscellaneous parts, would be a good money maker or just to have as extras. You could also use this to get the driver back to 100% stock if your a purist.

As far as price I think there are many options as to how a deal can be made. My ideal situation would be to sell everything 60 associated as a package (driver, parts car, all sets of tires/rims, all spare parts, etc). As such my asking price is $8000 obo for everything. From there I'm willing to negotiate and entertain serious and reasonable cash offers. I would be willing to sell just the driver with or without spare parts/certain sets of tires, just the parts car or any combination in between for a lower price, let's talk and see if we can make something happen.

More, sorry its full of stuff. The rubber in the back could be cut to fit better but i wanted to protect as much as i could so i just left it. There are 2 bad spots on the carpet at the back pictures. The rest of the carpet looks like the surrounding carpet

A little update:
I ordered all parts to complete a saginaw conversion, pump, hose, bracket, etc. This will be included in the sale or i may get it installed prior to sale, time permitting.

Cruiser has never ran better! Now it just needs someone to take it to the next level! Not sure how much longer I'll have this posted for sale, wife now wants to sell the 40 instead but I'm not too sure. As of now it's still for sale!

No responses, mate!
